The best cold open into title sequence in the franchise. I can't imagine this will ever be topped. (Moonraker is the worst, for those asking.)

For real. There are so many composers to choose from who had interesting lives!

If you watch Rocky, you might as well watch 2 and 3 for the full arc. If you watch those you may as well watch 4 to see Apollo’s story. If you watch that you may as well finish it out with 5 and 6. If you watch those you may as well watch Creed 1 and 2.

I truly don't understand this thinking. The 1980s have some of the most exciting movies I've ever seen. Honestly, every decade of film has something interesting about it!

Nowhere is cultural acceleration more evident than in the movies. As Andrej Karpathy says, movies from before 1995 are slow, boring and naive.

I don't know which specific episodes they campaigned with, but she and Matthew Macfadyen won their awards on S4E7 (Tailgate Party) in my eyes. It's like taking the best scene of a stage play between two incredible actors and filming it as a TV show. Phenomenal stuff.

as someone who has had pretty much every item in this photo, I can still say with great confidence that the Reese’s Fast Break is the best of the bunch.

This feels like a dream for a composer, getting to mash up Tchaikovsky and Looney Tunes. I really hope this movie finds a way!

Had a lot of fun scoring Coyote Vs Acme. As no-one will be able to hear it now, due to bizarre anti-art studio financial shenanigans I will never understand, here is a bit of behind the scenes footage of our “Meep Meep” Roadrunner choir, with apologies to Tchaikovsky…

I do very much like Houston, but New Orleans is also a very cool city!

A thread on the 57th birthday of the New Orleans Saints... Before the NFL arrived, New Orleans was primarily a boxing, baseball and college football town. The Sugar Bowl headlined the local sports calendar. High school rivalries in the Catholic League earned front-page headlines

Yesterday, I was laid off by @TexasTribune after nearly 9 years. New leadership got rid of its longest-tenured reporters and said they’ll no longer cover the criminal justice beat. No one on police, prisons, courts, the death penalty. In Texas. Here’s some of what we’ll lose:
