The AI maximalists say that we need AI to do all the jobs so that we can be freed to do more meaningful things like make art and read to our children. But then they also want AI to make art and read to our children. So what exactly will be left for humans to do? The answer, though they won’t admit it, is that we get to be passive consumers sitting around slack jawed staring at screens until we die. That’s the only form of happiness these people can conceive of. It’s all any of us should want, as far as they’re concerned.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Repost and reply for a chance to win a San Francisco Giants Pokémon Worlds Night jersey!
ALT Detail shots of a Pokémon World Championships-themed San Francisco Giants jersey. The jersey has a logo on the left chest featuring a Poké Ball, the Golden Gate Bridge, a boat sailing in the San Francisco Bay, and a Latios flying overhead. The jersey also has a logo for the Pokémon World Championships 2026 on the right sleeve. The back of the jersey features Pikachu wearing a crown and a cape as well as a silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge.

1. The fact that you think this is exactly the same as what Apple made is already problematic. Big tell on your judgement.
2. You only lifted the final deliverable. Didn't think of the metaphors for any of the features, didn't storyboard, didn't frame or time transitions. Even then, this is still lower quality. Meh.
By no means am I saying this is better but I mean come on
All the AI video hate is straight cope
you can now launch the EXACT same marketing videos as Apple for a fraction of the cost as solo founder
I made this in 20 mins with seedance 2.5
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Apple's Mac mini ad is handcrafted stop-motion clay animation per BTS. This AI version closely mimics scenes via Seedance 2.5 video reference, not an exact independent replica.

Reminder: Mega Charizard X Ultra Premium Collection Preorders at Target Likely This Week 12AM PT / 3AM ET⏰
Early Mega Charizard X UPC Link:
➡️bit.ly/4mT908o
Preorders can occur on any day at the times listed, as early as tonight. Same with Phantasmal Flames at Target that we posted last week, they typically go live right on the hour!
General Tips / Reminders: Be logged into your Target account with payment information saved. Refresh on the hour or click the link when we post confirming it's live.
If you add to cart and see a "Busy" pop-up at checkout, ignore + keep clicking the "Place Order" button. Spam the button: it often takes several attempts for it to go through, as checkout gets throttled due to high traffic.
We generally don't recommend Apple Pay for Target drops and restocks. Most often, saved Credit Card / Debit works best.
For Pokemon TCG products at Target, the usual limit is 2 per order. Mega Charizard X UPC Official Release Date is 11/14 and retail price is $119.99.
We will post if preorders go live tonight or any other night this week at Target!
