The inability of the @RTFKT team to get outsiders excited for this project & appreciate its complexity/appeal/potential is disappointing. Years of hard work being faded due to failure in reaching vision-market fit. Lets hope they have a strategy cooking behind the scenes..

My quick early personal initial thoughts on @RTFKT Animus: +++This is the equivalent of 39 traditional NFT collections in one but coming with 2D/3D hybrid & potentially more utility down the line. Doubt the web3 community will appreciate this insane core base & amount of work needed to make it possible but worth pointing out. ++Experience website is top notch and does a good job trying to explain all the complicated mechanics at play here all being introduced at one. +++Art looks good both in 2D & 3D & carries its own style removed from being a cheap Pokemon clone. Another very important long term fundamental nailed. +It was always going to be challenging making different RTFKT ecosystem participants involved whilst not alienating outsiders & it does seem like they've put a lot of thought into trying to satisfy as many personas as possible. +++The little physical toy sale is at a reasonable price point & comes with digital files with limited quantities aimed at superfans, meaning any extractive FUD narratives avoided. +++MK DNA #CloneX holders being assured a Murakami Animus rewards them very nicely. ---Alien, Undead and Reptile DNA & helmet 1/1 holders not getting anything for them besides a small point boost is very disappointing. --Murakami trait CloneX should have guaranteed a Murakami trait Animus, K.I.S.S. --The rarity distribution is top heavy once again, 15700 gen3 sharing 18 species and 9 element types means there's going to be hundreds of same species/element combos & we haven't seen level of variety in the other aspects to see how unique the characters really will be. --The incubation point system merely pits holders against each other and duration seems very short. This creates an immediate pressure to buy more assets with a cheapish opaque point leaderboard being the payoff. Was imagining a more immersive experience with quests and more as previously hinted at. --No video trailer of any sort? No hint at anything beyond the art? No info on how it might interact with wearable ecosystem? Before digging into the nitty gritty details, it might have helped making people excited about the bigger picture. -Combining both Animus details & incubation details into the same post might overwhelm folks & probably should have been separated. -Don't know the number of Animus holders who don't own a CloneX/pod but it's probably considerable in context of liquidity in markets, and there's prob not enough incentives for them to hold beyond a tiny chance at non-floor. Short term price action of Animus Eggs should suffer as a result. -Probably could have involved other RTFKT assets for small points if they didn't have Pod or Clone, so no one gets left behind & feels like they're 'wasting' their Egg. TLDR: Crucial solid foundations being a homerun sets this new IP up for great things. Some of the incubation details don't feel as rewarding as the "made to reward our core community" tagline would suggest but it was never going to be easy making everyone happy. Seeing as this is just Phase I, we'll have to wait to see what else is in store to make a better ultimate judgement.
