Serious question, because I'd like to get outside opinions. It was time to update 401k's today and I changed my beneficiary to just my mom now that my dad has passed away. I've thought about it before and mentioned to my mom that, after she dies, I'd probably leave whatever money I may have (not just 401k) to my cousins' kids (my cousins are all close to my age or older as it is and probably wouldn't need it much). This is assuming I don't get a wife and kid of my own between now and then. Is that weird or am I still within the realm of reasonable here? I wouldn't really know what else to do with anything I might have otherwise.
