Blaire White becoming a Christian final thoughts: I’m not “propping him up,” I’m not calling him a woman, and I don’t support him having any leadership role. I don’t even follow him on any social media platform and don’t think I ever have. I simply see someone who is broken, hurting, and newly turning to Christ and I’m choosing to have hope for him. Scripture says that true faith produces fruit and repentance, and I agree. If he truly found Christ, there will be change. But we don’t get to decide the timeline for his sanctification. God transforms us from the inside out. He’s already speaking differently, publicly acknowledging that he is a man, and openly talking about faith. That alone is a huge shift. He’s biblically illiterate right now and has probably never had solid believers guiding him. He even said he doesn’t think the Bible requires him to physically change in order to follow Christ - which is incorrect - but the more he reads, the more the Holy Spirit will correct him. Many of us held unbiblical views when we first came to Christ without even realizing it. It takes time, scripture, humility, and the work of the Holy Spirit. This is brand new for him. Behind the transgender identity, there are likely deeper sins, hurts, and strongholds that God may be addressing first. We have no idea what God is already doing in his heart. He botched his body and lived this way for half his life - coming out of that will be painful and slow. He needs grace, truth, discipleship, and prayer. We are called to judge actions and call believers away from sin, and that includes telling him he cannot stay “trans” forever. If he truly has the Holy Spirit, he will change (just like we all had to). But we are not called to condemn people to hell or declare who is saved. That’s between them and God. Christianity is a journey. You wouldn’t have recognized me 10 years ago. God makes new people. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” We come to Christ broken, we don’t fix ourselves first. We can’t fix ourselves, that’s the whole point. There have been plenty of people who claimed to know Christ but it turns out that they were lying or faking or just wrong. But I won’t be jaded by that. I will always choose to have hope for people and believe the best for them. I can do this without accepting sin as good. Sin is not good and we must call it out. I haven’t affirmed any of his sins and never will. So yes, I’m praying for God to lead him to live as a man and leave transgender ideology behind. I believe God can get him there. I’ll always have hope for people. Give him grace and time. Pray for him. If his faith is real, his entire life will change. Praise God that even when we were dead in sin, He made us alive in Christ.
