It is a pleasure to announce that @s_hammarlund has successfully defended her doctoral dissertation. It was fantastic to get to work with Dr. Hammarlund. (a picture from a pre-pandemic time that seems appropriate)

Dr. Lisa Fazzino gave a great defense of her dissertation yesterday. She integrated models and experiments to uncover surprising ways that bacterial interactions alter the impact of phage. I learned a lot from her. Congratulations Dr. @FazzinoLisa!

It was incredible getting to work with Dr. Beth Adamowicz (@BethA_z) as she completed her doctoral dissertation. I learned a lot from her.

Feel real lucky to get to go through the tenure process with folks like these. Beer also helps.
