👀 BE AWARE: Out of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily taken hardblock.com.au offline while we assess the impact of the critical PHP vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) announced by the PHP security team.
These are serious remote code execution flaws that could affect many PHP-based sites. Until we have confirmed patches applied and clear guidance from our hosting provider, we have chosen to keep the site down.

GuardBlock is designed so the customer’s key has priority.
Initially: 2-of-2 — your key + ours.
After the first timelock: your key alone can spend.
Only later does our recovery key become able to spend independently.
2-of-2 → customer 1-of-1 → either key 1-of-2
This gives the customer custody of their coins with the additional security and recovery by Guardblock.

Temporarily halting exchange activity is obviously bad for our business.
We are doing it because continuing to process transactions during a BIP-110 chain split would amount to gambling with our customers’ Bitcoin—on the eventual outcome of the split.
Bitcoin has no clear precedent for these exact circumstances. We cannot be certain what will happen, so we prefer to be safe rather than sorry.
Our advice to Bitcoin hodlers is simple: keep your Bitcoin in cold storage until the dust settles.
