Technocracy's serialization is finished!
The first book of the story of Technocracy as a whole has been released online in its entirety! If you haven't read it yet, or started reading it and need to resume, this is your cue to do so!
The link to the whole story is in the reply:
Oh baby, this means Detroit's Democratic political machine is not going to come through for El-Sayed. Those vote dumps in the middle of the night that screwed Trump over in 2020? They won't be there. He is fucked.

Prior to this, there was plausible deniability about the Mormon influence on “The Chosen”.
Let’s see what we’ve got in total:
No baptism in the Jordan
No Holy Spirit
No Transfiguration
Yes Native American angels…
Shameful.
"Midway" (2019) is the ultimate Saturday afternoon movie. You have a main lunch, you watch "Midway," and then you take a nap. No better way to spend a Saturday.

My favorite bit is during the 2016 campaign all the pro life activists were telling Trump just how terrible abortion is and he concluded “wow you’re right! We should punish the women who do this!” Pro life inc blew a gasket.

Pope Leo XIV on All Souls’ Day: “Woe to those who die in mortal sin.”
“On the 8th centenary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, we naturally recall the beatitude he added to the Canticle of the Creatures, when he realised that his end was near;
“Praised be you, my lord, through our sister bodily death from whom no one living can escape.
Woe to those who die in mortal sin. Blessed are those who she will find in your most Holy Will, for the second death, will do them no harm.”
Dear brothers and sisters, faith in Christ tells us that our bond, with a faithful departed, is not broken, but transformed.
Through our prayers for the repose of their souls we accompany our loved ones towards full communion with the Lord, that communion of which we already have a true foretaste here in the sacrament of the Eucharist.”

“And what is that I hear? That note of urgency, of indignation, of spiritual hunger. Yes, it's Beethoven. It's the sound of European man once more reaching for something beyond his grasp.”

This is why when Jesus bars Peter from using his sword, it is not a general condemnation of violence.
Peter, rather, cannot prevent THIS moment, THIS seizing of Jesus by the mob of the Chief Priests. Specifically, THIS moment must happen. For this is why Jesus came.
“Do you think that I cannot call upon My Father and he will not provide Me at this moment with more than twelve legions of angels? But then how would the scriptures be fulfilled which say that it must come to pass in this way?”

As someone who’s been a fan of MF DOOM since the early-2000’s I find the revisionist history around him interesting. He was very underground and very niche for a long time. It wasn’t until his music was on Adult Swim that he got any notoriety outside of underground heads.

This is a key part of what makes Mike Judge so impressive. He's a very smart man with a very good theory of mine for very stupid people.
Replying to @agraybee
They're so stupid that it's actually really hard to write realistically, because smart people have trouble developing a theory of mind for the truly stupid.

The 1993 EU was about managing the European market
The 2026 EU overrides national laws, meddles in member state's domestic affairs and interferes in elections while centralizing as much power as possible
It resembles the USSR far more than it resembles the 1993 EU

Could use some prayers folks. Both parents are in end-of-life hospice at the moment. I’m back here in Memphis and dad’s passing is imminent. 🙏🏻❤️
Over 1000 words of narrative poetry written tonight!
A good night. So happy to be back at work on Technocracy.

-Ah, the inflation fetish episode!
-Unit-01 diving into the volcano to save Unit-02 is a very cool little moment. Shinji doesn't get a lot of chances to be an unimpeachable badass, but he gets one here.
Poland is going to leave the EU.
If it wasn't inevitable before, it is now.
The European Commission has reiterated that Poland’s parliament must have the right to appoint new judges, lending support to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in an escalating confrontation over the country’s Constitutional Tribunal.
