GWS have quietly indicated to clubs that they will consider offers for Lachie Whitfield and/or Harry Himmelberg. Unclear whether the defensive pair have any appetite for a move, and being contracted, would have to approve. But the motivation for the Giants appears obvious. Try to improve draft hand, clear $ and continue their little reset with Stringer and Hogan moving on.

I think this is a good choice, struggled to maintain full fitness and since 2024 looked like a shell of that player. Unfortunately I think GWS will struggle for the next few years while we bleed some of the young talent we do have but desperately need a key forward in the off.
