At a certain point “im too tired” or “i have a head ache” is no longer a viable excuse and the person in a marital relationship constantly doing this, is just as much in violation of marital vows as someone committing infidelity

Basketball Twitter constantly complains that kids aren’t outside on the playground grinding anymore. Want to know why? Because half these same parents won’t even let their kid walk down the street by themselves anymore.
So instead of pickup games at the park, it’s phones, video games, and sitting inside. We killed independence and then act shocked kids don’t act independent.
I suggested maybe parents don’t need to attend every single AAU game either - sit in the car, grab a coffee, let the kid breathe for two hours - and check out the comments. People acted like I suggested abandoning children in the wilderness.
Meanwhile we used to disappear for entire summers playing basketball at the park until the street lights came on. These kids are toast, man.

Avoid these types of coaches at all costs, prly hate when your players are correct and you are wrong.
This is why analytics and stats are so important.

biggest difference….. One is normal….. the other is for…… well…. you know…. the 90’s had a lovely hard F word for it…… i can’t remember currently….
Wishing someone “Merry Christmas” when you don’t know whether they celebrate it is similar to wishing someone “Happy Pride Month” when you don’t know whether they’re LGBTQ+ (or an ally).
In both cases, the greeting is usually well-intentioned, but it still assumes something personal about the other person. If you are fine with one but not the other, then you are a hypocrite.
