The @GOP must be thrilled that 11 days before elections, we learn that the Trump family secretly orchestrated a deal to allow Russians to drill Alaska in exchange for a $25 billion "investment" funneled through their proxies.

Let's recap the developments in the mailers that were sent to voters purporting to represent a transgender advocacy group. A thread 🧵.
1. As early voting started, mailers purporting to represent the Transgender Education Network of Texas were sent to an untold number of Texans.
The ads are somehow getting worse. This white lady is hiding in the dark room—ashamed and afraid to show her face … bc she’s white. Says that liberals are the new racists. Are we at the bottom yet? How much lower is there to go? Nvm…

CBS identified Illinois based Three Z Printing as the holder of the permit associated with the fake transgender mailers. One of the owners, Matt Zerrusen, is based in Dallas. His Instagram shows pictures with Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump, and comments from local Republicans.

Oh good. The federal agents who showed up at a Florida early voting site were apparently hoping to vote, except THEY WEREN'T REGISTERED TO VOTE IN THAT COUNTY AND DIDN'T REALIZE THEY COULDN'T VOTE THERE.
Federal agents who don't know how voting works. Terrific.

The Executive Branch has no authority to regulate states’ election decisions as to candidate qualifications, and the choice to file a lawsuit like this just days before an election speaks volumes about the political corruption festering at the top levels of the DOJ.

Russians mounted a disinformation campaign aimed at James Talarico. The Russian posting has had more than 1M views. MAGA influencers are only too happy to repost the deep fake
alleging that Talarico assaulted a student in 2011 when he was teaching in San Antonio.

People often wonder why more good people don’t go into politics. Well, in large part, it’s because of things like what Vivek Ramaswamy did to his opponent Amy Acton. Ads like the one he put out are simply disgusting. They are examples of gutter politics, of trying to paint opponents in the most degrading light.
The ad that he and his campaign produced, endorsed, and are standing behind tells you everything about his character, or lack thereof. It tells you how low he will go. It tells you all you need to know about the kind of politician he is. I do not use the word leader because this is not the behavior of a leader.
We in this country have the opportunity in these midterm elections to elect leaders of character, of compassion, of integrity. Who treat their opponents with respect, with regard for them their history, for their families.
The good people of Ohio know gutter politics when they see it. The people of this country are going to throw men like this to the curb where they belong. May they can sit there and reflect on their behavior. They definitely shouldn’t be sitting behind a desk in a state capital or in our nation’s capital. End of story

A *REPUBLICAN* PRECINT CHAIR
After digging into this for two days… I’m fairly certain this was done by Republicans in an effort to anger you enough to make you vote.
Have we become so desperate to secure votes that we are willing to compromise our morals, values, and principles to get them?
Children were sent materials explaining how to pursue emancipation from their parents and directing them to resources that could assist them with gender transitioning.
We are talking about minors, including children who may already be struggling with questions about their identity, being given information about potentially life-altering decisions without their parents necessarily knowing.
If anyone is willing to excuse this simply because they believe it might benefit their political side, we have a much bigger problem.
Children are not political pawns. Their vulnerability should never be exploited for a vote.
We cannot claim to care about protecting children while abandoning those principles whenever doing so becomes politically inconvenient.
If winning requires us to compromise the very values we claim to defend, what exactly have we won? Nothing. I’m disgusted.
Last week: “Well Talarico SHOULD be in a mental institution in Ohio so it doesn’t matter that it wasn’t true”.
This week: “idc if republicans sent my kids transgender resources in the mail bc the resources exist and that’s the problem”.
Walking with helmets is needed.
“Not that I know of, Sir”
The president of our country is verbally and emotionally abusing the press. Those being abused are cowering out of fear and letting it continue. This makes me want to throw up.
