One day, a man complained to his friend,
“My wife is no longer the woman I married.
She used to dress beautifully, smile all the time, and make me feel special.
Now, she is always tired. She barely has time for herself, and sometimes she falls asleep before I even get home.
I feel like I married a different woman.”
His friend listened carefully and asked,
“Tell me something. Who wakes up early to prepare breakfast for your children?”
“My wife,” the man answered.
“Who makes sure they have clean clothes for school?”
“My wife.”
“Who stays awake when one of them is sick?”
“My wife.”
“Who remembers your favorite food, your appointments, and all those little things you forget?”
The man lowered his head.
“My wife.”
His friend paused and said,
“Then tell me, my brother, when was the last time you asked your wife if she was okay?”

My son asked me to leave his house at 8 p.m. because his wife said she couldn’t raise her children properly with me around.
I had been living with them for six months.
And the reason I moved in was because my son begged me to help.
When his wife returned to work after giving birth to their second child, they struggled to find someone they trusted to care for the children.
My son called me.

Project Supervisor: “Why did you tell the professor I refused to present?”
College Student: “Because you told me not to present.”
Project Supervisor: “I told you to wait until I called your name.”
College Student: “You skipped my name, sir. Then you told everyone I wasn’t prepared.”
Project Supervisor: “You need to stop making everything sound like a personal attack.”
The student had spent three weeks building a prototype for their college project. The supervisor had promised him the chance to demonstrate it during a review with the department and an external evaluator.
College Student: “Can I just show you the message you sent me?”
Project Supervisor: “I don’t need to see your messages.”
College Student: “You wrote, ‘Don’t touch the equipment during the review. I’ll handle the demonstration.’”
Project Supervisor: “Because I didn’t trust you to explain it properly.”
College Student: “Then why did you tell the evaluator I built something I couldn’t explain?”
Project Supervisor: “Watch yourself. I’m writing your final assessment.”
The student looked at the prototype sitting on the table.
College Student: “Sir, you haven’t even seen me demonstrate it.”
Project Supervisor: “The discussion is over.”………..

I came across a MasterCard MSc scholarship to study in France for African countries.
Graduates from 13 Universities are eligible to apply and surprisingly none of which is from the core North. Not even BUK, ABU, Unimaid or UDUS. I wonder what the criteria for the eligibility is

Passenger: “My flight leaves in 25 minutes. Why are you telling me I can’t board?”
Gate Agent: “Your boarding pass has been flagged. I need to verify something before I can clear you.”
Passenger: “Verify what? I’ve checked in, I’ve passed security, and my passport is valid.”
Gate Agent: “I understand, sir. Please give me a moment.”
Passenger: “I’ve been giving you moments for the last 15 minutes. Everyone else is already on the plane.”
Gate Agent: “I’m trying to resolve this.”
Passenger: “Then call your supervisor.”
The agent called her supervisor, who arrived carrying a tablet.
Supervisor: “Sir, we need you to step aside while we review your booking.”
Passenger: “I’m not stepping aside. You’re about to close the gate on me, and nobody can tell me why.”
Supervisor: “If you continue holding up the boarding process, we may have to involve airport security.”
The passenger looked at the gate agent.
Passenger: “Have you actually checked my passport against the reservation?”
The agent hesitated.
Gate Agent: “The system says your document details don’t match.”
Passenger: “Which details?”
She turned the monitor slightly toward herself, checked the document number, and then opened the booking history.
Gate Agent: “Sir, did you change your passport recently?”
Passenger: “Six weeks ago. I updated my details when I booked the return flight.”
The supervisor leaned toward the screen.
Supervisor: “That shouldn’t matter. The reservation is confirmed.”
Gate Agent: “It matters if the old document number is still attached to the outbound segment.”
She checked again.
Then she stopped typing.

When Margaret lost her husband at the age of 36, she was left with three young children, a small rented apartment, and barely enough money to put food on the table.
Her friends advised her to remarry quickly.
Others told her to forget about giving her children big dreams because she was struggling to survive herself.
But Margaret had a different plan.
She made a promise to herself that her children would never grow up believing that poverty was their destiny.
She couldn’t give them wealth, but she was determined to give them the knowledge and discipline to build it.
And what she did over the next 25 years changed their lives forever.
Whenever Margaret received her small salary from working as a tailor, she divided the money into three categories: household expenses, savings, and business capital.
Even when money was tight, she explained to her children why every naira mattered.
When her eldest son, Daniel, was 12, he begged her to buy him an expensive toy his classmates had.
She couldn’t afford it.
Instead of simply saying no, she sat him down and explained the difference between wanting something and being able to afford it.
She told him, “My son, never spend all your money trying to impress people who won’t help you when you’re broke.”
Daniel never forgot those words.
Years later, he would credit that lesson with helping him avoid unnecessary debt and build a successful technology business….
Day one on @RebateLaunch is done. Now for the harder question: what would you actually build on it?
The stats from the first 24 hours are loud. 97 million bonus tokens distributed. 1.5 million $REBATE burned. 14 hourly payout rounds sent straight to wallets.
But those numbers only prove the machine works when the crowd is loud. The real test of a launchpad is what happens when the launch frenzy fades.
Rebate gives a creator a rigid, locked framework. Fixed supply. Bonus, payout, and fee rates set in the contract at creation. You can't change the rules later. That means you have to show up on day one with a community that actually cares, because the math is only going to reward the people who stay.
If you launch a token that exists purely to be flipped, the time-weighted multiplier won't save it. The volume dies, the USDG payouts shrink, and the 2x tier is just a number on a screen.
The infrastructure is there for someone who wants to build a real niche community and reward the people who hold it.
So if you had the keys to launch on this pad tomorrow, what would you build to keep people from leaving after week one?

Interviewer: “Tell me about yourself.”
Candidate: “I’m 24 years old. I was born in one state but grew up in another. I enjoy watching movies, playing video games, and going to the gym. I’m a quiet person, I don’t like dishonesty, and I hate people who look down on others.”
The interviewer paused.
Interviewer: “Okay. What makes you a good fit for this position?”
Candidate: “I’m hardworking, respectful, and willing to learn. I graduated last year, and I’m looking for a company where I can grow.”
Interviewer: “What experience do you have that’s relevant to this job?”
Candidate: “I worked in a retail store while I was in college. I helped customers, handled payments, restocked shelves, and sometimes dealt with complaints.”
Interviewer: “Can you tell me about a time you solved a problem at work?”
Candidate: “I don’t really know what to say.”
Interviewer: “You just told me you hate dishonesty. Can you give me an example of when you dealt with it?”
Candidate: “I haven’t really had that kind of situation.”
Interviewer: “Then why did you mention it?”
Candidate: “Because you asked me to tell you about myself.”
The interviewer put down his pen………..

A few months ago, I came on here to share my sister’s health condition and ask for help, but unfortunately, many people thought it was fake. I understand that people are scared of being scammed, and I don’t blame anyone for being cautious. But today, I’m back again with a broken
PLEASE, NIGERIANS, HELP SAVE MY SISTER 🙏🏽💔
This is my sister. She is currently battling breast cancer, and according to her medical report, she is at Stage 2. What started as a lump has now become something much more serious. We have spent the little money we had on medications and different treatments, hoping and praying that she would get better. Unfortunately, we have now reached a point where we have nothing left. She urgently needs surgery, and she has visited several hospitals in Ibadan to make inquiries. Some hospitals are asking for around ₦2 million, while others are asking for even more. We are honestly overwhelmed and don’t know where else to turn, which is why we are coming online to ask for help. My sister has two children. They still need their mother. 💔 Please, Nigerians, I am begging you from the bottom of my heart, help us save my sister. I don’t want to lose her because we couldn’t afford the surgery. Any amount you can contribute will make a difference. ₦1,000, ₦5,000, ₦10,000, ₦20,000 or whatever you can afford. If you cannot donate, please help us by sharing this post. Your share could reach someone who can help save her life.

Had the most awkward interaction with a white person recently, and I’m still laughing about it.
Them: “Wow, your English is really good! You speak so well!”
Me: “Thank you! Your English is surprisingly good too!”
Them: “Wait, what do you mean surprisingly?”
Me: “I mean, I honestly wasn’t expecting you to speak this well.”
Them: “Why wouldn’t you expect that?”
Me: “That’s exactly what I was about to ask you. Why didn’t you expect it from me?”
Them: “No, that’s not what I meant…”
Me: “Oh, so what did you mean?”
Them: Awkward silence.
Me: “No, seriously. I’m curious.”
Them: Suddenly remembers somewhere they need to be and walks away.
Me: “Wait, we’re not done complimenting each other!” 🤣

My wife and I haven't had sex in 8 months. Not because we don’t love each other. Because we had a fight about sex and neither of us knew how to fix it.
I thought she stopped wanting me. Turns out she thought I stopped wanting her.
We've been married 5 years. First 4 years were good, normal. Then last year got heavy. My job cut hours, her mom got sick, we were both just exhausted.
I started pulling away without even realizing it. I was stressed, not sleeping well. I didn't feel like myself. So when she would reach for me at night, I would say "I'm wiped" and turn over.
After a few weeks of that, she stopped reaching. I thought she was mad at me. She thought I was rejecting her.
We had a dumb fight about it. She said, "Do you even find me attractive anymore?" I got defensive. I said, "Why does everything have to be about sex? Can't you see I'm stressed?"
As soon as I said
