💥Suella Braverman accused of ignoring legal advice that govt was illegally detaining thousands of asylum seekers.  Very grim - and so many sources speaking out suggests all is not well in home office.  @HarryYorke1 @ShippersUnbound thetimes.co.uk/article/suell…

We shouldn’t let this be buried by other news today. Foodbank charity Trussell Trust says that the need for foodbanks has outstripped donations for the first time. It has distributed 46% more emergency food parcels in August and September than at the same time in 2021.

If anyone needs to steady the ship, it’s the British people, with an election. It’s too stressful to watch @Conservatives play musical chairs with our lives. Not everyone has a safety net to insulate themselves from this chaos. #GeneralElection2022 #generalelectionnow #LizTrussPM

Sorry to repeat myself, but you *really* need to know this. Under the government's Public Order Bill, anyone who has protested in the previous 5 years can be forced to "submit to ... being fitted with, or the installation of, any necessary apparatus" to monitor your movements.
