Supporting Russia today is like being Ephialtes of Trachis who betrayed the 300 Spartans and their Greek allies at the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC he showed the Persians the secret path (according to legend) in order to facilitate their flanking attack
Supporting Russia today is like supporting Nazi Germany in 1940. Don’t bother to change my mind.

Russia is at war with the west,we just can't see it yet.We are being distracted by provocateurs focusing our attention on internal disagreements
- Radoslaw Sikorski- FM of Poland: "Russia is escalating the war. Unable to move forward on the frontline, Russia is deliberately targeting Ukrainian civilians. Passengers on trains, street vendors, even cyclists. Power plants, factories, and shopping malls.” "All these attacks on cities, on civilian infrastructure, are war crimes.” ............ It's clear enough..! This war hell must end.!

Elon claims Ukraine broke Starlink's rules by using it for drone strikes. But Ukraine was using Starshield, the military version of Starlink. The Pentagon had signed contracts with SpaceX to provide thousands of Starshield terminals to Ukraine. According to the Wall Street Journal and CBS News, Musk himself ordered the restrictions that disrupted Ukrainian drone operations. Elon is deliberately mixing up Starlink and Starshield to shift the blame.

A large, carefully planned Russian propaganda operation appears to be underway. Having starved people in the town of Oleshky for months, Russia, withe US help, will now "liberate" it. Read @ZarinaZabrisky below:
🔴 Behind me, you can see Oleshky: the town no one wanted to hear about nine months ago. Now, the world knows but the ordeal is not over. The next week ceasefire will be used for a “press tour” to whitewash Russia's war crimes. Don't fall for Russian propaganda.

Three simple questions…. This is why the triple lock is gone !
The Triple Lock Reformed Ireland must be able to make our own democratic decisions on where we deploy our peacekeepers, not be vetoed by Russia or any other country.

Replying to @Kasparov63
The mentality of bygones are bygones is a recipe for repeating that past. Russia, now the world, learned that the hard way when we failed to demand any accountability for the countless crimes of the Communist regime and the security services. Lustration isn't revenge.

In Budapest, there is a very interesting museum, House of Terror. It clearly shows the atrocities of both communist and fascist (which today's Russia is) regimes.
OTD in 1956, Hungarians rose up against Soviet-backed communist rule. Students demanded free elections, a free press and the withdrawal of Soviet troops. On 4 November, the Soviet Union launched an invasion to brutally crush the uprising. Seven decades later, Russia is seeking to rehabilitate the Soviet Union’s actions by portraying the uprising as the result of ‘Western provocations’, whitewashing the brutal intervention that killed and wounded thousands and forced 200,000 into exile.

Putin's humanitarian influence leaves cities much better places to live
“Madness: Kostiantynivka” — a documentary by Ukraine’s 24th Separate Assault Battalion. A city seen through the eyes of those who live there and those who once called it home. Familiar streets, everyday life — all slowly taken away by war. The world must see it. ⬇️

Look at the mess the Russians left behind after the Ukrainian war fighters kicked them out of this town Ruzki mir
As Ukrainian Forces continue to liberate territory, residents return back to their homes to find all the hallmarks of Russian culture, looting, drunkenness and death. The town of Sudenok.

A European country is being attacked by barbarians Where are the "nationalist" where are the "defenders" of western culture The Culture war is being fought in Ukraine against those who would see Europe cast back to the middle ages
Russia is a terrorist state. Using starvation as a weapon against civilians in Russian-occupied Oleshky is a war crime. This deliberate cruelty may constitute a crime against humanity and bear the hallmarks of genocide against the Ukrainian people. The world must not allow Russia to starve civilians into submission and escape accountability. #Oleshky #RussiaIsATerroristState

In September 2026, Ukraine continued efforts to return children deported or forcibly transferred by Russia and those trapped in occupied territories, while strengthening international cooperation, sanctions, accountability and reintegration. 132 children were returned this month, bringing the total to 2,657. Key developments: 🔹 Canada, Ukraine and Norway co-hosted the Pathways to Peace conference in Toronto on 28–29 September, bringing together 83 delegations. A total of 54 states and organisations endorsed the Toronto Pledge, committing to concrete action on return and reintegration. Honduras became the 52nd member of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. 🔹 Canada announced nearly CAD 7 million in support for child protection, reintegration and civil society, including projects involving @SaveukraineUs and @UNICEF. Norway allocated approximately USD 25 million to UNICEF and the ICRC. 🔹 At the UN General Assembly, new research estimated that around 1.6 million Ukrainian children in occupied territories face Russian indoctrination and militarisation. At least 582,600 school-aged children have been subjected to Russian-controlled curricula and youth organisations. 🔹 The EU sanctioned 10 individuals and 17 entities involved in Russia's deportation, forcible transfer and forced assimilation of Ukrainian children. Canada imposed sanctions on eight additional Russian officials. 🔹 On 18 September, the US adopted legislation explicitly identifying the forcible transfer and deportation of Ukrainian children as grounds for sanctions, creating an additional mechanism for accountability. 🔹 On 22 September, the European Court of Human Rights held a hearing concerning ten Ukrainian children taken from care institutions in occupied Crimea. Russia concealed their whereabouts and later listed them on a Russian adoption website. 🔹 Ukraine's Security Service notified two more occupation officials of suspicion over the deportation of 31 children from occupied Donetsk to Russia in 2022 under the pretext of a health improvement programme. 🔹 @BringKidsBackUA and Ukraine's Parliament launched a parliamentary diplomacy platform to strengthen international advocacy through verified evidence, legal expertise and coordinated action. 🔹 Maria Lvova-Belova acknowledged that 380 Ukrainian children from occupied regions had been placed with Russian families. She also confirmed that their photographs were deliberately blurred online to obstruct identification. 🔹 At a @PACE_News Parliamentary Network hearing in Paris, representatives of international institutions called for stronger tracing, return and accountability mechanisms for deported Ukrainian children. 🔹 The Lost Childhood exhibition opened in Accra, Ghana, bringing Ukrainian and Ghanaian artists together to raise awareness of Russia's crimes against Ukrainian children. As of September 2026, Ukraine's Ministry of Justice had officially confirmed 20,651 cases of deportation and forcible transfer of Ukrainian children. The real number is likely much higher. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian children remain under Russian control. There can be no just and lasting peace without their return. #BringKidsBack #ChildrenAreNonNegotiable #TrackingTheTaken

Russia is the enemy of western civilisation Russia is Ireland's enemy Russia is my enemy
Russia has answered calls for energy ceasefire with a massive overnight attack: 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones targeting Ukraine’s energy and critical infrastructure. Civilians have been killed and injured across the country. In Kyiv, at least three people were killed and 21 injured, including a child. In the Dnipro region, Russia killed two people and injured six more, including a child, while two people were also wounded in the Khmelnytskyi region. At least 600,000 people are now without electricity. The strikes damaged 26 components of Ukraine’s power system and four oil and gas facilities. The deliberate attack on energy infrastructure demonstrates Russia’s disregard for de-escalation and America’s position. Ukraine asks the United States to impose strong sanctions on Russia and provide Ukraine with additional Patriot interceptors. Peace requires strength and pressure on the aggressor.

No pardons,no hiding no escape I am a European tax payer and I will support all efforts to support Ukraine and pursue war criminals for as long as it takes
Meet the russian war criminal. Ruslan Kabanov, call sign “Koba,” was involved in the execution of Ukrainian POWs at the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. In June–July 2024, three Ukrainian defenders were executed after being captured by russian forces. According to Ukrainian investigators, Kabanov and another soldier guarded and escorted the POWs, while two others shot them in the back of the head. His accomplice, Sergey Tuzhilov (“Altai”), has already been sentenced to life in prison. Remember their faces. Remember their names. No war criminal should escape justice.
