Today is the first day of the local cricket season. All of my family play for Hollinsend Cricket Club and The History Van is sponsoring two of their players, Suzy and Andy. Here they are in suitable cricketing gear, even Harold has had a glow -up! Good luck all!

Year 2 had a fantastic visit from The History Van. A full day immersed in the day to day lives and activities of the Tudors - the good, the bad and the ugly! Everything from armour and wielding cross bows to weaving on looms and choosing ‘cures’ for victims of the plague!💙

A lovely couple of days with the pupils and staff of @lakeside_don We were on the trail of Rameses II on Monday and digging up the Vikings on Tuesday! Looking forward to revisiting for Roman Britain in the New Year.
Y4 had a fun and interactive day with @HistoryVan where they learned that there was so much more to Vikings than just being savage fighters. They explored different aspects of Viking culture and worked as archaeologists to interpret evidence. @TheRoseLearning @Cornerstonesedu
