"NEAR did unprecedented work on chain signatures" "unprecedented" is doing a lot of work here, threshold ECDSA, one key, sign on any chain, no bridge, shipped on internet-computer:native protocol-native, subnet-level DKG, asynchronous & byzantine-robust, with formal security proofs. NEAR's chain signatures shipped in 2024 and it's not even onchain, but an 8-node, appointed, permissioned side MPC network. So the "unprecedented engineering" is really "we shipped what ICP shipped protocol native, as offchain MPC." @NEARProtocol even cites @dfinity math for their offchain MPC bolt-on.😉 Don't believe me? Check the official $NEAR docs: docs.near.org/chain-abstract… In the "Derivation Paths: One Account, Multiple Chains" section, click the Additive Key Derivation link. It takes you to a @dfinity paper (click the PDF icon on the site). The funny part is, put the signer contract on any another blockchain (ETH, SOL, SUI... any smart-contract one), attach the MPC bolt-on, and it'll be "unprecedented engineering" for that chain too, without needing $NEAR at all. btw @LitProtocol already runs the same type, offchain, permissioned MPC, live on Ethereum today. 😉

Justin, how exactly did you arrive at 0.4 TPS or even 0.7 TPS? What did you remove, and why? LET THE NUMBERS SPEAK
ICP's reported TPS numbers are fake! ⚠️ They claim 6k+ TPS, but in reality, ICP only does 0.4 TPS. It is a ghost chain! By counting basic chain functions as TXs, they are fraudulently misleading the public Do not be fooled; there is real usage in crypto, but ICP is not it: 🧵 ICP's foundation, DFINITY, is again caught red-handed lying to the public. This time to a preposterous degree: The Lie: The 6k TPS figure comes from DFINITY's own official website. Here comes the kicker: 4k of that "TPS" are read-only queries! The remaining 2k "TPS" are application steps, something ALL other smart contract chains have, but no other blockchain actually counts as TPS. These include contract-to-contract calls, timers, replies & heartbeats. ICP's leadership counts all of these as "TPS" today The Truth: Once we subtract all of those phony forms of TPS, ICP ends up with a mere 0.4 TPS, or 0.7 TPS if we also counted every token ledger That means DFINITY is inflating the usage of ICP by a whopping factor of x16245 All while the biggest user of ICP today is DFINITY's own subnet where they host their apps! The ckBTC & ckETH minters, along with their ETH & SOL relays. Together, produce 31.5% of this fraudulent TPS count One Example: There was a particularly interesting incident in 2022 when a developer was loading a database into his app at less than one call a second DFINITY's own dashboard showed his subnet doing 1.3k Transaction Per Second, a third of the network's usage that week The developer then went on to the forum to ask how that was possible. The ICP engineer frankly explained it: "Each upload put 500 records into three indexes, and the code did each insert as a call from the program to itself. Every call counts, and every reply to a call counts again. So one upload became about 3,000 "transactions". Written as one batched call, the same work would have shown "500x fewer transactions". Following that up with one of the most damning statements in this case: "DFINITY's own benchmark had deliberately left such messages out, because counting them "might have been deemed as cheating (after all we care about user-triggered transactions rather than artificially generated traffic)". DFINITY's own dashboard counts them anyway & still does to this day. On this day, the 21st of October 2026, replies to calls between programs were 57 percent of the "update" count! This mechanism is also not rate-limited at all In conclusion, their own engineer said counting internal messages would be cheating in a benchmark; their own dashboard counts them to this day; that is the number they sell as TPS! Under ICP accounting, 1 TPS turns into 1.3k "TPS". Now that is a fraudulent & misleading design! Discrepencies That is how they can claim to do "6k TPS" while only bringing in less than 7k of fees per day, while its own "Internet Identity" ICP's login system registers a mere 3112 users in the last day Their physical presence in our ecosystem is also not at all congruent with their claim of being the second most used blockchain in the world Such inconsistencies are hard to reconcile. Which is why this expose was needed. As it turns out, they have been straight-up lying about their usage this entire time! Chainspect Why Chainspect, the blockchain explorer & metrics tracker, would unquestioningly repeat these lies. Taking its data directly from DFINITY's API is unknown Chain Inspect is not a registered company & for that reason & more, I was unable to find any connection to DFINITY, but it cannot be ruled out. They claim to be fiercely independent Chain Inspect only reports the 2k "TPS" figure, but that is still wildly misleading Especially since they do carry out more due diligence with other chains, such as by subtracting consensus messages in SOL, for example, as they very well should Weirdly, their own policy demands that they adjust their figures accordingly: "We aim to include only user-initiated transactions and exclude system ones, to enable fair comparison of different networks (e.g. for Solana we exclude “voting” transactions related to their custom consensus mechanism)." As a community, we need to point the finger here & ask @chainspect_app to update their policy on how they count ICP's "TPS". The correct number is below 1; reporting 2k+ instead is wildly misleading Do better, Chain Inspect! We are kindly holding you accountable today, as your website & service are otherwise great! Conclusion ICP is a ghost chain: There is nothing wrong with that, as we all need to start somewhere However, what is wrong is that they are actively lying about this fact. In the investment world, that is called fraud! Honesty & integrity matter far more to serious investors, as we are, myself included, willing to invest in "ghost chains", making a bet on a superior team & tech It is a shame, as ICP could be a great chain if they enshrined their subnets as I have previously recommended. If they also cleaned up their marketing, it could become a real contender Instead, the community will most likely respond with denial again. Exposing a sickness that is endemic within many small cryptocurrency communities Groupthink with cult-like dynamics, combined with both financial & peer pressure, creates one hell of a toxic soup Despite all of the personal attacks that will likely follow this critique, the truth speaks for itself. That is also one of the most wonderful things about crypto It is open-source code running a transparent blockchain. The scammers & crooks can not hide anymore with sufficient due diligence, of the sort we did here today To the ICP community, there are genuinely good, smart & well-meaning people there. We should never paint any community with a single brush For those of you receptive to this critique, I hope it will inspire ICP to clean up its act. Operating with more honesty & integrity is not only the right thing to do. It is also the best possible long-term strategy for success in our industry today When all is said & done. It is the truth that sets us all free! 🔥

Using blockchain certification shouldn’t require a crypto wallet. Now it doesn’t! This quarter the ORIGYN Minting Studio got its biggest upgrade yet, built to make on-chain certificates easy for any business: 🔌 No wallet needed Connect your own systems with a simple API key and create certificates from the tools you already use. ORIGYN handles the blockchain side in the background. 👥 Built for teams Bring your whole company into one organization account. Admins invite colleagues and give each person a role. 🔒 Private certificates Certificates and Digital Product Passports can now hold encrypted information, like internal documents or supplier details, that only the people you choose can see. Everything else stays public and verifiable. ⚡ Faster New certificates show up within seconds. The result: you no longer need to understand crypto to use ORIGYN. Just plug in and start issuing certificates with $OGY. These upgrades are highlighted in our End of Q3 2026 Update Report. Read the full update 👇 medium.com/@origyn/end-of-q3…

Is $ICP getting its own .com? 🌐♾️ 1,615 bids for new domains at @ICANN. Only one forces every site to prove it runs on-chain: .icp And that "$360K record revenue"? The network's own meter says about half. Here's what's actually in @dfinity's filing 👇 📄 The bid • Open TLD. Anyone could register a .icp name • Sole applicant for the string • Every .icp site must show a valid ic-certificate within 90 days, or it's switched off • 5 of 1,615 bids made a custom commitment. Only .icp's is about where a site runs • $227K just to apply ⏳ The timeline: • Nov 17: String Confirmation Day • Objections open until Mar 16, 2027 • Contract late 2027 at best • First .icp site in a normal browser: 2028 at the earliest 🔑 Who holds the switch ICANN's contract → DFINITY Stiftung (Swiss) → a back-end provider whose name is confidential. The NNS has no registry role in the public filing. 🏁 The rest of crypto is filing too 👀 .ethereum · .ada · .ens · .sol (+7 more) · 2 bids for .btc · 5 for .crypto Unstoppable Domains filed none. 📉 The revenue "record" Chainspect's $360K counts each trillion cycles burned as one ICP token. The hourly meter reads ≈$180K/30 days. Highest since February, under 7% of Mission 70's target. Someone in the community noticed the filing 18 min after ICANN's reveal. DFINITY confirmed it 2 days later: "if approved". Nothing is approved yet. I had Claude read every page. Full episode below. What year does the first .icp site load: 2027, 2028, or never? ICP "cloud engines" launch trajectory: DFINITY will soon begin disbursing coupons with enough cycles to create and power an engine for 1 month+, unlocking in sequence: 1. Agentic infrastructure ⚡️ Quickly build secure, sovereign onchain production apps using Claude Code, Codex, Caffeine, ... 2. Open SaaS beta release ⚡️ Install AIware apps that can run any enterprise, as easily as installing phone apps... 3. Unlimited growth ⚡️ A new end-to-end, mainstream onchain cloud tech stack will come into being. *** What this means *** ICP cloud engines are a new development on the Internet Computer designed to allow it to play the role of a revolutionary new cloud tech stack for the AI era. Currently, the Internet Computer scales by combining internal subnets, which are akin to individual, high performance blockchains hosting secure serverless software called canisters (something like smart contracts, but much more powerful, which can be used to create huge onchain apps, which serve their web screens directly to users) Cloud engines allow enterprises to create their own subnets that belong exclusively to them, which they control and configure — while their canister software can still seamlessly interoperate with software on the main network, and engines run by others. An enterprise creates a cloud engine by choosing nodes from a marketplace, which the ICP protocol combines into a revolutionary serverless cloud platform for them, where the computation and data of their hosted apps and services is tamperproof (immune to infrastructure hacks) and always on (incredibly resilient), AI agents can build and update apps far more effectively than on traditional tech, and next generation AIware software can be created. Today, enterprises demand to be able to control where their sotware and data lives, and cloud engines make that possible with no loss of flexibility. Cloud engines can even be re-configured with new nodes, without interrupting the hosted apps and services — the ICP protocol just handles it, granting complete sovereignty and freedom from vendor lock-in. In advance of general release, cloud engines are already being used by governments and NGOs seeking to create sovereign cloud tech stacks and apps. On general release, they will be used in far more mainstream ways too. Here are the details of what's coming. *** Agentic Infrastructure *** In the future, and really already today, nearly all of our apps and services will be created by AI agents rather than humans. Further, next generation software is "AIware," which has AI deeply integrated on the inside, which allows it to provide superpowers relative to traditional software. Agents have different needs when they building things. They can write software orders of magnitude faster than humans, and we will demand they update our production apps and services at the speed of conversation. Functionality will be fluid and its shape will change to match what we want. On traditional tech stacks, updating apps and services is a necessarily laborious and risky process for three reasons: 1) a security flaw might be introduced, 2) a systems configuration change might break them, and 3) the way that data is migrated might cause some to be lost, often in subtle ways that aren't detected at the time of the upgrade. This means that AI agents can't just be let of the leash to build and update at the speed they can. ICP cloud engines solve this. Hosted software is tamperproof, so agents can update without needing security teams in the loop. Hosted software is serverless, and the data lives in the logic, so apps don't. need things like operating systems and databases configured to run, so agents can update apps without having sysadmin teams in the loop either. And, if Motoko 2.0, the world's first languge targeting agents is used as the backend language, its framework is able to detect when an app update by AI might cause data loss, and simply require the agent writing the code to try again, reducing potentially catastrophic data loss to a harmless retry. Crucially, apps built with Motoko can also put AI agents on the inside, so that subject to permissions, they can see the data graph in the persistent memory used by serverless software on ICP, and access its functions. This enables you to instruct agents to do things in the apps for you, such as analyzing data, or performing actions, with great flexibility and power. ICP cloud engines are agentic infrastructure that change the game — and it will be possible to use them as such from the moment they are released. There is already a government using internal production software built on a cloud engine using Caffeine. But cloud engines will meet a wide range of mainstream needs, from solorpeneurs to startups, SMEs to corporations, governments and NGOs. *** Open SaaS *** The obvious question, is if AIware is so much better, shouldn't all enterprises be running on it? We believe they should, and that his must be enabled. This has been a labor of love for me. A new venture associated with me will release the Open SaaS suite for use on cloud engines once they have been running a short while, which suite, as you've probably guessed from the name, is open source and free. Open SaaS is a suite of every important SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) app used to run enterprises around the world today, reimagined as onchain AIware that runs on ICP cloud engines. Because of the unique nature of the software that ICP hosts, installing and maintaining these sophisticated enterprise apps on a cloud engine is as easy as installing and managing a phone app. A small selection of the apps: Open Team, Open HR, Open Accounts, Open CRM, Open Projects, Open Email, Open Messaging, Open Signing, Open Knowledge, Op... etc. There are many more, and there will be surprises. The user experiences are beautiful, and easily compete with the big money SaaS screens many enterprises are used to. Moreover, the are linked to what I called a "software factory" driven by AI, and the more enterprises that use them and provide feedback, the better they will get, in realtime. Today's expensive SaaS silos make it hard to integrate and combine enterprise data, and to unleash the full power of AI. They are the opposite to Open SaaS. In the future, enterprise users will spend far more time in AI chat than on SaaS screens. That's the future that Open SaaS enables and unlocks. Enterprise users can even say to their Open SaaS suite, "make me more profitable," and it will have a go. The big surprise coming for the world: once you run your enterprise on AIware, and AI can access all your data in realtime, and is integrated with your software's actual functions — it can become as good at running your enterprise as writing software for you. It's revolutionary, and ICP is pioneering this. Not a narrative, but real decentralized network tech. Something I can share: DFINITY is in the process of migrating to Open SaaS from a vast suite of expensive SaaS silos, and is already reaping big benefits as we refocus ourselves for the era of AI. **** What does this mean for the project? I believe ICP cloud engines are the vector that will transform the the Internet Computer into a mainstream agentic infrastructure tech platform for enterprise— which direction platforms like Caffeine have already helped the network travel, by enabling many tens of thousands of users and enterprises to create onchain apps on the shared network through online conversation. Now, the next and most important phase is approaching. Our go-to-market will proceed quietly as we rollout coupons and work to fettle the new network functionality, but I think that in hindsight, the launch of cloud engines will be seen as the most pivotal moment in Internet Computer history since network launch. With this, ICP shall show the industry how networks can provide real agentic infrastructure. Bear with us as we tie up loose ends. We never stop working, and you can be sure that we're trying to get this out as fast as possible 💪⚡️💥

I'm sure we have some Harvest Moon fans on internet-computer:native , the $MAPTF Harvest game will essentially be a knock off of this game. Personally I'm a big fan of Harvest Moon, it's a chill game. The plan is to do a retro vibe game which should be perfect for the current ICP infrastructure. The main companion will be named Figgs after my cat. My intention is to make a more in depth game with multiplayer dynamics. Primarily the advice is to not make MAPTF as the primary currency for the game, but more as an option to buy skins / unique upgrades for the game. This avoids bots trying to drain the treasury. For ETA on this, I think I should have a rough draft/basic beta type release for end of the year, though the full roll out could easily take about a year.

After the $MAPTF 's website, MAPTF.IO is finished, I was kinda thinking of building a harvest moon type game where MAPTF is the integrated currency of the game. Some sort of multiplayer aspect , trading, custom NFT's for the character you want. Obviously farming and earning MAPTF doing it. There's no intention to make this a get rich kinda thing for the player or drive big revenues into MAPTF, it's just a fun idea that I see possible on internet-computer:native
