Perspective: It's not reasonable for you to assume you should already know what to do in every strange, new situation. Even Captain Picard had to regularly survey his ready room advisors to get a handle on things.

Your daily ‘haters gonna hate’ reminder.
JJ has made a couple pretty throws that Jameis has made 1000 times in his career. I like how he’s played but nothing special. Jameis would easily have done this at the minimum. Because the defense is actually showing up, holding a good off. to 14 so far, & the run game not being historically bad. Jameis was pressured, missed some layups last week cause he’s playing for his job every quarter while JJ has nothing to lose rn. JJ has to prove he can do this week in & week out & not disappear when the season is on the line. Because that moment will come. I’m the ONLY one telling the truth, the media about to tell yall this kid was special all along but he ain’t gonna win anybody a Sb, just obvious he’s a bus rider not a driver. Lucky kid tho the team showing up this week.

I’m honestly sick of this man’s face and the way it stares off on the sideline every week like he’s waiting to be called to his table at Cracker Barrel. #GoBlue
Kyle Whittingham says Jason Beck wishes he had back some red zone calls, but stands by his OC, noting the success he had at Utah last year and how hard the staff is working behind the scenes. MORE: wolverineswire.usatoday.com/…

The salary of Ohio State with the mentality of Ohio U. Oh wait, not quite…
Kyle Whittingham after Michigan's 13-6 OT loss to Indiana: "If that's the number 6 team in the country, then we're a pretty good football team, even though we're sitting here at 4-3."

I agree, though I think this is an issue in more than just games of course. When you elevate any agenda (woke, anti-woke, it doesn’t matter) over entertainment/story-telling, you get lesser entertainment/story-telling. I recoil at agenda markers even where I might agree with them, because they signal that focus was misdirected.
If you have worked in the game industry (or tech) for the last 15 years then you know what Avellone is saying is true. Political activism and cronyism is to blame for killing these companies, because it ostracizes passionate devs who care about making fun games and instead promotes those who care about make games to support leftist agendas. What you end up with are companies who only care about gamers who share their same woke ideology, while ostracizing the majority of passionate gamers who once made up their base. You can't stay in business with this model. I don't understand why people are surprised when this happens again and again. When you hire based on political cronyism instead of passion and merit you can expect the same results. Gamers want to have FUN when they play games. They want games to be a break from the doldrums of life. They don't want them to be vehicles to ram woke activism down their throats. They get enough of that from everywhere else. 🤦‍♂️

I haven't seen the movie yet, but it seems fairly obvious that even the name "You Can See Everything" is Fielder 'playing games'. If his work on the Rehearsal stands for anything, it's that you absolutely cannot see into another. From The Fielder Method (S1, E4): "It's easy to assume that others think the worst of you, but when you assume what others think, maybe all you're doing is turning them into a character that only exists in your mind."
The title wouldn’t have been You Can See Everything if Nathan was actually deceived. That text message perfectly emphasized how calculated and insane the whole documentary is because it was her idea in the first place. Holmes heads to the beach with her family after an intimate convo with Nathan, then IMMEDIATELY texts him something like “You know you can see everything, right?” That’s odd for anyone to say, but especially someone who knows they’re in a documentary… how does she not know this? The Abbott & Costello bit was to show to the audience impossible-to-fake evidence that she doesn’t have a lot of common sense and confidently speaks about things she doesn’t fully understand. She thinks everyone else is a bot who doesn’t pick up on conversational nuances, but doesn’t understand one of the most popular bits ever. A simple & perfect way to emphasize her problem, and it shows Nathan’s investigating/confirming the feeling that the text gave him (that she’s lying her ass off for the camera). After that text came through, he seemed sure how he felt, but continued to manipulate her into sharing more. Because it’s pretty fun to manipulate a person who thinks they’re manipulating you. Liz truly believes her story is what others will see as fact because she’s always been told she’s a genius and her ego is that big. To her, facts aren’t objective but written by the smartest and best liars. She is following the conservative blueprint… it’s easier to convince herself that the world is out to get her than take accountability for her actions. Unfortunately she cannot and will not understand that she’s socially retarded in every way possible so it’ll be like this for the rest of her life.

I can’t speak for every firm, but the purpose at mine was to allow attorneys to write ‘partner’ on their signature block. Given that non equity partners don’t have any stake in the actual income/losses of the enterprise, it’s certainly close to (if not over) the deception line.
Called non-equity partnership defrauding clients is quite the statement about your legal judgment

It’s a hit driven industry, and unfortunately it’s been a long time since BioWare released any ‘hit’ type content. Thankfully, their legacy will live on both in what they created and in the creations of those that take inspiration from them.

Apologies, but it’s actually the Chrono Trigger title theme.

I’ve honestly never seen such a pure form of projection before. Plato would be proud.
How do authoritarian tactics work? The goal is to create so many threats against you, your family, and your staff that you shut up. They wanna manufacture outrage. They all start repeating the same talking points. The goal is to crush your spirit. That fear becomes contagious. We can't let it.

May have to call off Michigan football for the rest of the season. They are listless at everything they’re not actively bad at, and for every step forward there’s a blown up stretch run to take 5+ steps back. I’ve better ways to spend my time. #GoBlue

That is some weak sauce from the NCAA, but worth throwing everything at the wall when your house is burning down, I suppose.
In a landmark moment, the NCAA is suing a sitting state governor, Ohio’s Mike DeWine, over his executive order on eligibility. NCAA calls the EO a “misguided attempt” to give Ohio colleges a “hall pass to break rules,” per docs obtained by @YahooSports. bit.ly/4ytwzK2
