Government unveils its latest attack on Refugees. The appeal backlog is soaring - decision making is getting worse. Instead of fixing that they’re introducing more costly measures to prevent refugees rebuilding here.
More money spent on delivering worse outcomes for everyone.

Last week, a pregnant woman in her 3rd trimester came to us, homeless and desperate with nowhere to go.
Thanks to your support, we gave her housing and warmth.
Thousands more face freezing nights in vulnerable situations scared, and alone. Cold can kill but you can save lives.
This winter, thousands of people are forced to sleep on the streets in freezing temperatures. No one should face a night alone in the cold.
With your help, we can provide sleeping bags, hot meals to those who need it most.

Finally, no one will have to live on inhumane Bibby Stockholm. But people seeking safety are still stuck in dangerous camps like Wethersfield and Napier.
Everyone deserves a safe home in communities, not camps - it's time all these sites close for good.

Our communities and staff have been put at risk by politicians peddling racist, anti-migrant hate to chase votes. It must end now.
Along with 100+ frontline advice organisations, we've written to the Home Secretary demanding urgent change

New government proposals to hold more people in detention are a disappointing step away from a fairer and more humane immigration system.

Just a reminder when you hear "we need to fight irregular #migration".
ALT Migration is human. It's made irregular by the lack of irregular routes and by repressive systems.

I cannot speak highly enough of the bravery, determination, pragmatism and solidarity being shown across the @NACCOMnetwork right now. Standing up for what is right: that no one should be unsafe or homeless or destitute. Doing it the face of racist violence and intimidation.
