Popped down/up (?) to @cdownlitfest and picked up some bargains to add to my summer reading list.
ANOTHER spelling bee win…? Thankfully Edison students did better than their HOH Miss Callister, who only managed 7/10… 😬
Blown away by the creativity and, most importantly, the generosity of our wonderful @ChurchdownSch community. Some excellent @HouseofEdison hampers! #themostwonderfultimeoftheyear🎄
Feeling creative anyone? Perhaps an opportunity to get away from the screen for a bit and get designing!
House assembly is on Satchel One now - not even lockdown can stop us! 💪🏼 Let’s get spreading some kindness and much needed positivity by designing postcards, writing thank you letters and CLIMBING EVEREST🏔(E.B.I. We beat Hilary House to the top 😬). #aintnomountainhighenough
Let “Operation Hamper Delivery” commence! Blown away by the creativity and generosity shown by so many. It will be so appreciated by those in real need this Christmas. I hope you all have a very, merry Christmas - stay safe please! 🎄
Thank you to Edison star Mrs Webb @EngChurchdown for a much needed boost today. In a world where you can be anything, be kind (like Mrs Webb). ❤️
Year 7 - please make sure you have checked SMHW for your HOUSE virtual Carol task! #christmascheer #candomusic 🎼🎶🎧@ChurchdownSch @Churchdowncave1 @HouseofEdison @house_hillary @ChurchdownKing
We may not have been able to commemorate #RemembranceSunday in our usual way, but I hope wherever you were you took some time to reflect at 11 o’clock this morning. #WeWillRememberThem

The standard was higher than ever in the Staff House Bake Off event! Over £160 raised in the auction and here is Miss Bullock taking home the cake with the highest bid. A huge well done to all our amazing bakers and to Edison House for taking the overall win!
We started with a win, we’ve finished with a win! Edison’s wonderful Miss Harris won a close “spell off” which sepArated our champion from the rest of the competition. More points to finish a fantastic term! 🏆💛@EngChurchdown
Yes Edison! We had zero points at the beginning of the week, shows how quickly things can change! Well done to all our Year 8 “spelling bees” today, it was a close call but well done to @house_hillary - we try again on Monday! 💛💪🏼
