It made me cry seeing how gently they treated these Elders. It was such a poignant moment when the women called them sons and wished for them the protection of Allah. We should all want to live in such a way that our Elders will want to bless and pray for us.
We recently posted a video of the struggles of a group of elderly women. We asked them for their main needs and thanks to your donations were able to buy them.
The women were provided with a bag of cleaning products, kitchen utensils and pots, a portable gas stove, 4 tarps, 5 blankets, fruit bags and reed mat which cost around $800 (after commission). Additionally, medications that the women couldn’t find or afford were provided for $112.
It is not always possible but we try with some of our distributions to tailor the aid to the needs of the families. This returns some agency and dignity to people which is what we wish for everyone in Gaza.

I am going to just leave this here. Canada holds as much Muslim hate and prejudice as America does. In fact Canada leads in fatal attacks on Canadian Muslims. Also, true to their French heritage, Quebec leads the way in Canadian Islamophobia.

I love when vegans pull this one out. It doesn’t show what they think it does. It proves that industrial agriculture is exploitative regardless of whether it involves animals or plants. All industrial agriculture requires colonialism and exploitation.
