Watching Oslo Dimond League right now on cbcs .ca while reruns of Schittās Creek are on cbcs live Chanelā¦
Why does CBC have the rights if they arenāt committed to showing it on live TV?
GROW THE SPORT!
While I have you here.
Look at this Oslo Stadium. Itās nothing special, but itās well build and very intimate.

Do you know how you grow Track and Field in Canada?
Itās by investing and organizing with the coaches and clubs that are involved in putting on meets.
Find out where and when our best and developing athletes are wanting to compete and provide a quality meet for them
That includes:
- prize money
- pacing
- good conditions
- competitive fields
T&F is not a team sport and it never will be, itās just notā¦
T&F will always be about qualification for the āBig Meetsā ie World Champs & Oly games & maybe more importantly to secure funding
āI just need to work on my speedā
Good and well to have speed, but if youāre not strong youāll never find yourself at the end of a race with a chance to use it. Priorities for young athletes should be:
1) strength
2) speed endurance
3) sprint mechanics
4) sprint speed

A couple quick takeaways from a Canadian perspective thoughā¦
So hereās a question
Whatās it cost to build a mostly barebones field house like BU?
Thousands of Canadians travel down to BU and other facilities across the northern US to āchaseā fast times, because for some reason we havenāt built a decent enough facility in Canada.
Why?
Met Stephen about a year ago and it started with a simple question, āHow can we help Canadian athletes?ā
Stephen and I are hoping to provide and avenue for athletes to achieve their goals
Just trying to leave the sport in a better place than I found it
