Thread: Today was my last day with @NHFTNHS at @HMPSwinfenHall as part of the Delta Enabling Environment #OPD service. Overall, it’s been immensely enriching. I’d like to share a few reflections because it’s been meaningful to me.

With the launch of @SaferLF #CorbettCentre we are collating data on benefits/disadvantages of ppl with sex convictions ‘mixing’. The ‘no association’ rule is on many licence conds but me & @drnblagden are not convinced it’s useful. Anyone want to throw us evidence either way?

If there is anyone interested in volunteering to work with us and is pretty handy with a paint and a brush. Please get in touch

All can I ask you follow @HMPNottingham as I'm going to hand over the reigns to my colleagues. Enjoyed the interactions both good and bad but it was never about me and all that matters is the prison, my amazing colleagues and those in our care.

Says it all.."when I was ten I was selling crack.. I watched a woman overdose.." these statements are not excuses but so many of these people in prison have reasons that led them to where they are.. We need to help lead them towards a new kind of life #prison #prisons #HMPDurham

@AlisonLiebling @crewebencrewe A fantastic paper that demonstrates the meaning of sustaining 'hope' whilst in prison. Unfortunately this hope is destroyed upon release due to poor resettlement policies. Worth a read before tonight's #Prison @Channel4 - prc.crim.cam.ac.uk/pdf/hopea…
