That's a genuine shame. I really thought she'd be with us forever.
RIP Penelope Keith. One of Britain’s funniest ladies. Thanks for all the laughs.

Bought my old man a smart bird feeder for their garden, thought it was something nicer than a pack of beers 🍻 They're always telling me about the birds they see on their bird table 😊

In the last of the daylight, almost 6kWh from two panels. Best day this month 😁👍

I'm out! And I'm happy with it 😊 Just shy of £200 profit. My 14 year old lad says I should’ve held off. But that's a few meals at Wetherspoons 😋

Quick update on the solar pergola. Whilst we've had shitty weather ever since I built it, we're still doing ok with it. Over 5kWh when I looked last night before 7pm, ended up at 5.15kWh. Every little helps. Looking forward to a proper sunny day 😎 And a random photo of Sharon to fill photo slot 4 🤪

Just watched episode 1 of the new series of Clarksons Farm, what a tonic after a tough working week, fantastic entertainment. Ending on the reality of the current shit show of a government we have though. Sickening what they're doing to our farmers.

Full week of garbage weather under our belt since we got back off holiday. Now another fortnight ahead of equally depressing weather! Probably my fault for installing solar panels in the garden 🤪

My Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 was collected yesterday for a repair. Apparently the factory fitted screen protector isn't fit to survive daily foldings! Regardless though, you soon realise how vital your mobile is to daily life. Sharon wanted a debit card payment verifying, and I can't do it. I can't even log in to Santander as I once did for many years using a password. Without using my fingerprint on my phone, I can't log in on the laptop. I know most people have so called smart phones these days, but what do those people do, who don't have a mobile phone at all!?

For 6 months Aer Lingus continued to rebuke our claim for compensation for deboarding, citing that we were not eligible. Despite recorded letters to their head office, multiple emails, they kept replying with the exact same response. @abzpaul found us an email address for the CEO earlier today. I emailed at midday. This just arrived. A total about turn! Thanks Paul, it worked, I'm shocked. We were always eligible for compensation, but it was getting disheartening. Great result.

During the quotation stage with Boxt, they were so good at replying, often within the hour. Now we've paid an £1800 deposit towards our solar/powerwall, it's all gone quiet. We've provided requested photos of the house, but heard nothing since. Even the helpful quote man isn't replying to my emails 😒

I have run a comparison check, and Santander are £387, and just £400 total excess. LV are £900 excess. So it looks like we won't be staying with LV after all. – at Dunswell, England
Looks like we'll be staying with LV then 🤓

6 months after being deboarded by Aer Lingus, we've received our second rejection. Two rejections against something that we're not even claiming. It's time to send all the relevant info to the Irish Aviation Authority. – at Dunswell, England
