@GovernorShapiro just signed the Beagle Bill into law -a victory for animals and a powerful example of how politics should work. Leaders from both parties found common ground in compassion and turned it into action. @SenMastriano, @SenatorComitta and everyone who spoke up and every lawmaker who worked together to get this done: thank you for showing what’s possible when kindness crosses party lines.

Compassion isn’t enough. Animals need strong laws and lawmakers willing to pass them. From ending cruel live pigeon shoots to protecting dogs raised for research, stopping the puppy mill pipeline, ending declawing, and strengthening cruelty laws, there is work to do. Humane PA works to elect humane candidates and turn compassion into stronger animal protection laws.
