ALT The Itty Bitty Stack Compiler What is The Itty Bitty Stack Compiler? This is a tool that starts with a simple HyperCard stack and builds from it a Double-XX project with scripts for CompileIt to compile, so that when it is done, you have a stand-alone, double-click application that does not need HyperCard to run. You cannot add or delete buttons, fields, and cards in the compiled stack, and you are limited to not more than 200 cards and 250 (total) buttons+fields in any one card. There must be no ID or number conflicts (the same number or ID) between card buttons, fields, and scripts and corresponding background objects on any one card. Fields are basic HyperCard 1.x, so they cannot mix styles or fonts and do not support the HyperCard 2.x “Group” style. Script properties, painting tools, and StacksInUse are not supported in the finished application. If you need any of these features, you should consider using the (larger, slower) HyperCard Player.
