God only knows why it took me so long to see that in God’s hands a broken heart mended imperfectly can somehow be more whole than a heart unshattered. Brokenness teaches surrender, God may declare us whole with our scars intact, & sometimes our imperfections are part of His plan.

Acts 8:35 says Philip preached to one man, the Ethiopian eunuch. Today some can't preach without a flowing intro, the guarantee of a substantial paycheck, and at least 150 in their "amen" corner. Lord, teach us to be faithful; revival often starts with just one hungry heart.

God doesn't expect you to offer up perfectly crafted prayers and He doesn't require mountain moving faith, before He'll respond to you. Your relationship with Him will deepen and true faith will be established when you're real & transparent before Him. He knows your heart.

Judas had a front row seat to Jesus' ministry, baptized new converts, passed out bread to the multitudes & was commissioned for ministry alongside Peter, James and John. Ministry involvement doesn't guarantee purity of heart. There is no substitute for right relationship!

We preach eloquently about God's power and sing about his ability to break the chains of bondage, but does our faith in his omnipotence extend beyond the pulpit? Does it still resonate when the last note of the song is played? May we never forget, GOD IS ABLE!!!
