Good morning. The air is refreshing. My dog is a good boy. If you've followed me the past few months, especially the "good morning" posts, you know that I ended many posts with the two words 'FOCUS' and 'PERSPECTIVE.' That's really all I felt we needed, and all I wanted to convey. Why? Because I knew Trump was in decline. And I knew he couldn't pivot. And I knew he would try to force-feed a false narrative. And I KNEW he would overreach. I knew his corruption would rise to the top of voters' lists - I predicted this many times, and it finally did. I knew that the more people saw - and became alarmed at - his corruption, the more would also see his incompetence and ignorance. And I knew his pathology was so rigid, his need to project grandiosity so endless, that his fear of humiliation would consume him. I knew that despite this, he couldn't shut up or stop or be less of a center of attention. I knew he'd become his own worst enemy and his myth would finally erode. I also knew the Dems had some TRULY great candidates. And the GOP was putting forth abusive Max Miller, absent Tom Kean, airhead Darline Graham, and asshole Roger Marshall - who would be THE worst candidate of this cycle, but the moron-in-chief nominated the abomination that is Ken Paxton. As I saw it, all that was left was our FOCUS and PERSPECTIVE. Our ability to process outrage and anxiety and avoid being distracted and not fall for the authoritarian trickery -- so that we can close the deal. THIS is the position we wanted to be in. We're there. Stay focused, keep perspective. On Tuesday, we close the deal.
