Anyone feeling bummed about this ad, not because it was bad but because they remember how much more fun it was back then, I just wanna say this.
It's not nostalgia. It honestly was more fun back then. It was more fun because:
- A lot less rules
- Pretty much everyone was anonymous unless you chose to tell people who you were
- Being able to connect and talk to people across the country and world without fear or judgement precisely BECAUSE you didn't know who anyone was.
- You could say just about anything you wanted, good or bad. A double edged sword.
Some of these things we flat out can't do anymore. The biggest one being the death of anonymity online.
Companies, Discord, Governments, games, AI, all of these things want your info. They want to know everything about you. To sell, to track, to keep in line and so on.
I've been on the internet for a long time. Not as long as some, but definitely over 20 years. My channel was made in '07 and I used the internet even before that. I remember when Google had a "videos" section from BEFORE they bought youtube.
It was so much better back then that it's not even funny.

Have you ever looked at a picture and become lost in thought starting at it for minutes, feeling new things each time you try to interpret it over and over again?
These are simple 11 lines but somehow when I look at it, I see a Trans woman's eyes filled with hope but sadness.
Maybe she is unable to be herself just yet, hence why the tears are represented by the Trans colors while the rest of the composition is monochrome.
What do you think this 🎨 could mean?

During the Artemis Acceleration update, both SpaceX and Blue Origin revealed plans for how they would support the Artemis IV mission. Up first is SpaceX.
SpaceX’s plan involves docking with Orion in HEO before boosting it into a TLI and then leaving Orion in LLO while HLS lands on the surface.
This plan involves two refueling points: one in LEO and the other in a slightly higher FTO. The number of tanker flights needed isn’t specified exactly, and NASA and Elon seem to provide different numbers, so I just averaged them.
