وقد شكر الوفد دولة الرئيس على رعايته العيد التاسع والعشرين لتأسيس المعهد، وقدم له درعًا تذكاريًا في هذه المناسبة. وكانت المناسبة فرصة لعرض خطة عمل المعهد ودوره في دعم الإصلاحات المالية، إضافة إلى نشاطاته الإقليمية في مجال التدريب وبناء القدرات.

As a panelist at the launch of Lebanon’s Social Protection Spending Review, hosted by the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan and attended by Minister of Finance H.E. Yassine Jaber, international partners, and civil society, I spoke about how we at MoSA are reshaping our budget to better reflect people’s needs.
The report offers timely, evidence-based analysis of how Lebanon allocates and executes social spending and highlights the urgent need for a more equitable and accountable system. At MoSA, we are using these findings to inform a more strategic approach to budget planning, guided by needs-based evidence, program performance, legal mandates, and financing realities. This will help us shift from fragmented responses to a more integrated, inclusive, and empowering social protection system that upholds dignity and delivers impact.
