Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) today inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 at its Registered Office in New Delhi. The event began with Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Chairman & Managing Director, administering the Integrity Pledge to employees, in presence of Chief Guest Shri Rajesh Verma, Ex-Secretary, ABBFF, Shri Ajay Kumar Sahani, Chief Vigilance Officer and other senior officials. This year’s theme is “Probity for Prosperity”.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mohanty said, “True prosperity is measured not only by growth and achievements, but also by the values and ethical standards through which they are attained.” He added that as India’s dedicated green financial institution, IREDA is entrusted with public resources. Every decision must therefore be guided by integrity, transparency and sound financial judgement, and its commitment to the nation’s green energy goals must go hand in hand with the highest standards of ethical conduct.
A highlight of the inauguration event was an interactive session by Shri Rajesh Verma, Ex-Secretary, ABBFF.
CMD encouraged employees to take active part in the week-long observance from 26th October to 1st November 2026. The week will include workshops, awareness programmes and competitions to reinforce the values of integrity, transparency and accountability.
Employees from all IREDA offices took part virtually, making the observance truly organisation wide.

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) today announced its Audited Standalone and Consolidated financial results for the Quarter and Half-Year ended 30th September 2026, showcasing significant growth across several financial metrics.
The results were approved at the Board meeting held today at IREDA’s registered office in New Delhi.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: Q2, FY 2026-27 vs Q2, FY 2025-26 (Standalone):
𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: ₹10,579 crore vs ₹8,062 crore (↑31%)
𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤: ₹97,411 crore vs ₹84,477 crore (↑ 15%)
𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: ₹2,345 crore vs ₹2,057 crore (↑ 14%)
𝐍𝐞𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡: ₹14,337 crore vs ₹12,920 crore (↑ 11%)

Commenting on the performance, Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Chairman & Managing Director, IREDA, said: “Our Q2 FY27 performance reflects the continued strength of IREDA’s business fundamentals and focus on quality growth. 31% rise in loan disbursements, along with 15% growth in loan book, underscores the sustained demand for renewable energy financing across the country. Equally significant is the sharp improvement in our asset quality, with Net NPAs declining to 1.08% from 1.97%, reflecting the strength of our risk management framework and monitoring.”
Dr. Mohanty also conveyed his appreciation to Team IREDA for their dedicated efforts and expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Union Minister for New & Renewable Energy; Hon’ble Minister of State for New & Renewable Energy; Secretary, MNRE; and the Board of Directors for their sustained guidance and support.

भारतीय अक्षय ऊर्जा विकास संस्था लिमिटेड (इरेडा) की तिमाही ई-पत्रिका ‘अक्षय क्रांति’ के जुलाई–सितंबर 2026 अंक का विमोचन आज अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक डॉ. बिजय कुमार महांती के कर-कमलों द्वारा श्री जोशीत रंजन सिकिदर, निदेशक (वित्त), भारतीय सौर ऊर्जा निगम लिमिटेड तथा इरेडा के वरिष्ठ कार्यपालकों की उपस्थिति में किया गया।
