Freak accident with my @KitchenAid_UK mixer. It shook itself off the kitchen worktop. As it was falling, I tried to catch it. Plug socket was pulled out the wall and hit me in the face. Thankfully missed my eye but ouch, it was painful – at Edinburgh, Scotland
Implemented two home automations (powered by @home_assistant) to allow my @plex server to sleep:
- When I turn my TV on, the server wakes
- I've implemented a custom server connection (with reverse proxy) to my HA install that detects a remote Plex client connecting, and wakes
