Serbia just voted out the party that held power for 14 years under authoritarian rule. People organized, showed up, and won. America, this could be us next week!

Orbán gone. The Bolsonaros gone. Vucic gone. Netanyahu so desperate to avoid facing the criminal courts of his country if he loses the upcoming election that he's trying to incite a nuclear war. Americans can do their part to stem the toxic tide of global fascism on November 3.
BREAKING: Putin just lost another ally in Europe, and people are celebrating in the streets. Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia’s authoritarian leader and close ally of Trump and Putin, has officially conceded defeat in a historic snap parliamentary election. The student-led opposition movement has won, ending more than a decade of Vucic’s grip on power. Voter turnout reached nearly 70%, the highest since the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1992.

BRENNAN: The DOJ lawsuit demands the Alaska result not be certified if voters are confused. The confusion is defined as Sen. Sullivan not winning. BLANCHE: That's not what it says BRENNAN: I'm quoting from it. You are telling them not to certify it. What right does the federal government have telling a state not to certify?

In 2020, when Bill Barr was Attorney General, he crossed a lot of ethical lines, but still refused to use DOJ to overturn the election. Not so with Todd Blanche. He is more than willing to interfere in Alaska’s election — or any other — if it will serve his master. The best remedy for voters: make sure to turn out in such numbers that the result is not even close.

⚠️🙃
A blanket presidential pardon for crimes that have never been charged has never been fully litigated. People committing crimes for trump, or in connection with trump, take the risk that they will be successfully prosecuted by a future DOJ.

This is a staggering level of both grift and betrayal.

The next 10 days will test our democracy. Trump hasn’t been able to suppress votes systemically like he wanted to & now there's a lot going on, especially in courts. Get caught up on what you need to know now, like recent developments in California and Alaska. joycevance.substack.com/p/tr…

It’s time for a constitutional amendment to reform the pardon power. Trump has turned it into a pay to play debacle and a shield for his corruption. No more.

A wild story: the CEO of a US energy company whose plans were discussed during the Witkoff-Kushner-Putin negotiations resigns. Why? He learned that his company's main investor is a sanctioned Russian company, not the UAE nytimes.com/2026/10/23/us/po…

It is as un-American as it gets
With voting underway, the Trump administration is trying to stop ballots from being counted, sending federal agents to voters’ homes, and threatening election officials with prosecution. democracydocket.com/news-ale…

There is no legal authority for DOJ to do this. It’s a made up legal theory that will be rejected; which suggests a plan to gin up a narrative about the courts being the cause of Trump’s losses.
Yesterday, Todd Blanche wouldn't rule out DOJ suing to block state election certifications, citing a potential "doomsday scenario." Today, DOJ sued Alaska, saying they should "not certify any election result that may be impacted by voter confusion." nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…

The Department of Justice’s (DOJ) lawsuit to preemptively block certification of the results in Alaska’s U.S. Senate race if the Republican loses is pure bunk, according to a growing chorus of legal experts, democracy advocates and politicians. democracydocket.com/news-ale…

The BBC is doing something important, refusing to be intimidated by a powerful person trying to use the legal system to punish criticism and discourage scrutiny. They’re schooling the American press on what the 1st Amendment means. Read about it here: joycevance.substack.com/p/th…

Russia has been doing this since 2015 to help Trump as we learned from The Mueller Report.

Asking career officers how they voted is not just wrong -- it violates the Hatch Act. Those doing it may be investigated by the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, fired, and/or fined. There is no statute of limitations -- so the next administration can go after them.
SCOOP: The State Dept has started asking career diplomats up for promotion if they voted for Trump in 16, 20, 24. Federal law prohibits politically based hiring for career staff. State tells @washingtonsun it's screening for "fidelity" and execution of the president's vision👇
