The harassment that Dorcas Moyo is facing online for sharing a line off one of her songs cannot be explained neither can It be justified. Whether the post was politically motivated (in line with the anticipated unrest of the 1st of April) in Harare or just an artist thinking about a line from their song wishing to share it with the public, everyone has a freedom of expression. Therefore we are all expected to be tolerant of each and perhaps respecfully disagree. The harassment is despite the #cyberbullying law that is meant to protect all citizens online to not be coerced or harassed for personal opinion. Women tend to suffer more harassment than men with so much derogatory words and violenced spurred upon them as we are seeing in the case of Dorcas. There is no justification for harassing fellow citizens. Hope perpetrators of this harassment will be brought to book. @IdentitiesH

With @IdentitiesH we are looking to document successful women this #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2024, kindly recommend women and girls who are making strides and who have something to say to fellow women and girls, as well as the community. Please tag them and give us a brief of what they do. We also want those ordinarily not known. Thanks. @tagalife @fatoulo11 @WCOZIMBABWE @vanyaradzayi @sallyncube @maud_chifamba @MoeChanda @BTonhodzayi @_ntombiyenguni @SANDEJAQ @ANGEZHA_Vauya @annamiti1 @annamiti1 et-al – at Harare, Zimbabwe

We don’t tell people that we see them, that we love and appreciate them. That what they do is great and we like them to succeed. #TerryG ndarwadziwa ufunge. I never got a chance to meet you, talk to you or even comment on your posts on my personal account, but I’ve seen you being posted on our Identities Media platforms from time to time and I love what you did with @Chipomuchegwa. I wish I’d given a shout out one of these days. I’m in shock. From now on I will make it my purpose to give shout outs for no reason to people that I see, that I like and whose hustle I respect. Yours Terry I respected and it’s sad that along with many of us who are writing condolences messages, I didn’t let you know I loved your work and vibe. Rest easy Terry, 😞 💔

@mhtestd is this ethical and allowed? #SekeTeachersCollege is asking applicants to bring $25 not clear what it is for. Howmany students have they invited and how are they not extorting applicants? What number of applicants are likely to get the place? Why charge this hectic interview fee? @ARTUZ_teachers @kubatana @nickmangwana @tagalife @WCOZIMBABWE @vanyaradzayi @nangozimbabwe @IdentitiesH @HeraldZimbabwe @263Chat @OpenParlyZw @citezw

I cannot take total credit for @AnnahSande’s becoming the mayor of Epworth today, it took a village to raise this girl. But through my NGO @tagalife and the powerful #LEMHs leadership programme, we can safely say we left a footmark on Annah’s leadership journey. We truly were blessed to come across this genius and had the privilege to mentor her. I was so blessed to be invited to the election cum appointment of Her Worship today. I set there swooning when her name was called that she’d won the vote foe the mayor, I couldn’t believe our own girl Annah, a young woman being declared a whole Mayor😭😭😭. Girl you made me proud, as proud as any mother can be. Thanks for honoring me with the invitation to witness your day. I am so blessed to also tell your story in the upcoming film #Section56. All the other girls will see that leadership is their birthright and portion! I’m truly grateful to partners who’ve supported my organization on this leadership programme amongst them @GlobalFundWomen @HivosWiL @hivosrosa @awdf01 amongst others. @WalpeAcademy I know you also did work with Annah and many other women political leaders, thank you. Hon @JoanaMamombe welldone for mentoring Annah too. Here’s to more young women being raised to lead! Cheers 🥂 Annah

Dear #SADC thank you4 explicitly articulating how nomination fees bared ordinary citizens esp women from exercising their right to run, & their blatant exclusion due to i consistent Const amendment such as 2 in your report. #ZimElection2023 #NelsonChamisa #ZimDecides2023

Is @Potraz_zw aware of how tough it’s been to be on internet in this country? Data is expensive but the service is close to non available. We loose on data that we purchase expiring due to poor network across all major mobile services providers. Internet is now a basic right! – at Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe
