Day 2 of Uni’s hospital stay.
He had to fast before surgery, so he must have been hungry, but apparently he hasn’t been eating much. We’re worried, but he was full of energy and very affectionate with us!
We hope he gets his appetite back soon. We’ll visit him tomorrow.

Uni’s surgery was a success!
We visited him a little while ago, and even though he had just woken up from anesthesia, he was already full of energy! The vet tech told us they rarely see cats like him. That’s our Strongest!

This is a bit sudden, but Uni is having surgery today.
Recently, we discovered some small stones in Uni’s bladder, even though he’s already on a special prescription diet designed to dissolve certain types of stones.
Uni had been getting regular checkups after recovering from cystitis, so even our vet was puzzled by how suddenly the stones appeared.
Our vet determined that the stones are a type that can’t be dissolved through diet, so they need to be surgically removed and analyzed.
Thankfully, Uni is doing well and acting like his usual self. But if the stones block his urinary tract, it could become life-threatening. That’s why we decided to have surgery as soon as possible.
He’ll likely be hospitalized for 3–7 days, which is a bit of a long stay. The surgery itself isn’t considered particularly complicated, but we're still very worried.

I know many of you are tired of seeing me asking for boarding fees every single month. Believe me, i am even more tired of begging.
I may not need to repeat their rescue stories anymore. Each of these 8 dogs has their own highlights on my IG page, where you can read about their painful past and rescue journeys. You can also look through my previous fundraising highlights to see how i have been struggling to keep them safe every month.
Since early this year, i have been searching for a piece of land to build a small sanctuary for my rescued animals. A place where they can finally stay without me having to struggle with these boarding fees every month. But until today, i still haven't found one.
And until that dream becomes reality, i have no choice but to keep paying for their boarding.
I saved them from the streets.
Now i am fighting every month just to keep them safe.
