Have been thinking about this and have not made much progress.
Jez said to long your best idea. Not your second best.
But the thing with SoV coins is, what’s even the best?
Look at gold and the situation w mercury💀
We have btc.
Which tradfi has agreed to be crypto’s SoV.
Zcash solves btc’s quantum and privacy weaknesses.
Pearl is ai btc that doesn’t waste energy like btc.
Am leaning towards what tulip said.
A basket of SoV coins based on my own risk levels.
No need to choose winners if SoV coins will all rerate based on US debasement and gold fking up.
Replying to @bread_
I agree with both of those & don't have an answer at the moment. This video is from me riffing like over a year ago (pre-pearl) in a Messari call lol. I posted bc fun. I think a decent SoV portfolio holds some mix of: Bitcoin, Zcash, & Pearl now based on whatever your personal risk preferences are
How do you know what runs on PHP
Replying to @dontforgetchaos
Websites are files on a computer. When you view a website, you are asking the computer to send you the files, then your browser shows them to you.
70% of the websites you see use PHP to make them interactive. So you can send things to the website too and it can respond. E.g. filling in a comment box and hitting 'post' adds the comment as a row to a spreadsheet.
PHP has a flaw in its code that allows anyone to gain control of the computer that has the website on it.
The organisation that provides PHP announced the vulnerability before a patch was available, meaning we're in a window where everyone knows about it (including baddies) but the good guys don't have an official solution.
Some are just turning off their websites and waiting for the solution. Others are trying to fix it themselves. General chaos and lots of stressed techies across literally the entire planet because this affects the entire internet.
There’s a case to be argued why not everyone should have kids.
TFR below 2 makes sense because when people like these have kids, the world just ends up in a worst off place.
Please x3 if you are not ready or incapable to have kids, just abort.
Aborting is not great.
But aborting > fking up your kid’s life.

Just finished watching @chameleon_jeff on the odd lots podcast.
Good podcast.
But I do have a suggestion for Jeff.
I think Hyperliquid is a pretty complex and foreign topic to the majority of the population.
Imo it doesn’t help that Jeff gets very technical and use bombastic words to explain Hyperliquid.
Being accurate is important. Being factual is important.
I understand this.
But I also think it doesn’t help the case if people unfamiliar with Hyperliquid walk away missing out on how great this technology is.
Strongly encourage considering utilising more analogies and simpler word choices to express what Hyperliquid is.
Hyperliquid.
NEW ODD LOTS:
It’s the podcast debut for Jeff Yan
@tracyalloway and I have an ultra-rare interview with the CEO and co-founder of Hyperliquid Labs about his plan to house the world’s entire financial system

Truth is seems like nobody on this app knows wtf they are talking about.
Have your own thoughts and manage the risks accordingly.
Imagine you actually believe that black Monday was coming.
You would have sold off your spot and went max short.
You would be so cooked here.
Think it was @TaikiMaeda2 who shared in one of his videos about buying in q3 because everyone thinks q4 gonna be easy.
Everyone was calling him a retard in his youtube comments section.
And then we all saw how explosive the move was for alts (and partially btc).
There's probably something to take away from what Flood's saying here.

Didnt we agree that flows are going into consensus coins like hype, zec, near, vvv only?
I am actually concerned when I see @get_truenorth recommending me it's highest conviction setup to be long TIA.
It's doing it purely from a ta perspective. So its not on the agent.
Honestly whos ape-ing this.
Ledger management:
“We have a crisis with our supply chain issues on our hand.
Nobody might use Ledger or even hardware wallets after recent events.”
Also Ledger management: Let’s release our newest product during this crisis.
Your wealth is digital. The device you manage it with should be built for that.
Meet Ledger Atom™: the security of industry leading hardware, the convenience of your everyday apps, plus control over your AI tools, and a rapidly expanding platform of apps, all in one quantum ready device.
Agents propose. You approve. Your Ledger signer enforces.
Idk whats the most appropriate thing to call Beni.
Guardian of ct? Batman/Spiderman??
No clue.
Anyways something insane has obviously happened post ico x kalshi.
I remember when people used to say they dw zachxbt to ever mention them.
This app is amazing.
In the most unexpected turn of events
@seyong has reached out through a mutual friend
And to my surprise, he showed genuine remorse and was transparent about the reality behind the numbers he shared
Of the 20+ investigations I’ve conducted over the years, this is the first time something like this has happened
“He just did that because he knows what would’ve followed…”
It would be naive to think my reputation had nothing to do with his decision to reach out. But even if it did, that's not necessarily a bad thing
If people are more inclined to own their mistakes because they know they'll be held accountable, I consider that progress
He acknowledged his mistake, took responsibility, and offered to share internal data with me to back up his claims
He did the right thing to do in this situation
As far as I’m concerned, the matter is closed
I’m moving on
Tried out @get_truenorth funding rate arbitrage feature.
Very easy to use.
Pretty much almost 1-click unless you wanna add customisation.
There's a protect arbitrage feature so you can utilise the agent's recommended TP and SL.
You earn money from funding rate arb while protecting your downside.
And get to also compete on TrueNorth's weekly Lighter competition.

Honestly if you made a nice bit of money in this place, take it out and actually improve yours and the people around you's life.
I remember when I received my Lighter airdrop in December 2025.
In the next month, I brought my wife to Hong Kong.
I also bought her a new iPhone.
Money means nothing if its just magic numbers sitting in your phone.
Mt Gox and FTX led to many swearing off exchanges.
Not your key, not your coins.
I wasn’t in crypto back then so I never experienced it.
But with so many self custody incidents we have seen, I wouldn’t write off the exchanges and ETFs.
Thinking of buying bitcoin etf personally.
Unfortunately you don’t know what most of these crypto projects use the money for, if you leave them to it.
100% buybacks = 100% alignment
Obviously this means there’s little to no room for growth.
But that’s the price you pay to buy trust from token holders.
In the current climate, think it’s pretty hard to invest in anything without some form of bb being involved.
Personally think 100% is very extreme. Don’t think you need to commit all revenue to prove a point.
I like some of the hybrid bb models out there where you can balance trust and growth.
i talk to a lot of tradfi hfs and investment firms and when the convo of buybacks comes up it is hilariously different than ct. they hate that we use 100% of revs for buybacks. they say buybacks are what you do when you have run out of better ideas for growth and increasing revenue durability. most growth companies dont do buybacks, let alone aggressive buybacks. fwiw tesla has never done a buyback
obv crypto is different bc a token doesnt currently give token holders rights (hopefully this changes) so buybacks are an alignment/trust thing, but i just find it funny that the thing ct treats as the most bullish thing a project can do is the thing a tradfi growth investor reads as you are out of ideas and a bad use of company capital. honestly this also might just highlight how short term minded ct is vs tradfi, but i also get that we have had a lot of bad actors which has caused most of ct to be this way
