I truly wish Neera was a fighter for all Democrats but she just isn't. She picks and chooses, if Hasan or El-Sayed was doing what Stevens is doing it would be wall to wall tweets. Density, Hutch, and all the worst centrists on this app would be screaming for blood.

“Darializa is so heckin evil because she vaguely criticized Ukraine once. Anyway here I’ll write in an open genocidal Zionist who 100% supports Israel in every way
EL-SAYED: I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn't mind as much when it's the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law's private equity. Doesn't seem to mind as much when it's the Qataris who are giving them a $400 million private jet. He just seems to have trouble pronouncing it when it's my name.
I don't care how he pronounces my name. I don't even care that he remembers my whole name. Because he can just go on and call me senator after November.

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff
Sanders: Trump’s racism is not new. Fifteen years ago, he came up with this lie that Obama was not born in America…
Much of this campaign in Michigan right now is based on racist attacks against Abdul El-Sayed. The reason that they are using Islamophobia against Abdul is because they have nothing to say about the real issues facing working people.
Mr. President, instead of slandering Abdul and his family, what are you going to do about the health care crisis in America? What are you going to do about the housing crisis? What are you going to do about income and wealth inequality?
These guys have nothing to say about the real issues impacting working families, and all they can do is foment hatred and divisiveness.

Basically, Lula’s campaign managed to increase turnout and convince undecided voters that a weak President they don’t like is better than an all-powerful President they don’t like

Latest from Detroit early voting: 1,279 early voters today. There were 614 voters on second day of early voting in 2024.
People all across the world are fighting back against extremism. With Lula in Brazil, they just won. Authoritarian leaders always attack democracy because they stand no chance against the will of their people.
Trump must respect the results and not undermine Brazil’s elections.

El-Sayed: In my Neurology unit, I would have to give that MOCA exam, that cognitive test he's so proud of… The only people you give that test to are people who you worry may have cognitive deficits. By definition, if you’re taking one of those tests, something is wrong.
And you know the doctor who gave it to him was like, I just want to see how smart you are, sir. And he's like, me too.
He brags about having taken it. He's like I remembered the rhinoceros. You're like Habibi, everybody remember the rhinoceros.
And the funny thing about it is, you know, he's taken it multiple times. So he's not even bragging about the first time he took it. He's like, I took it the 1st time and then I took it the 2nd time. So with Donald Trump, you can't blame him for this, he's just dumb.
But for Mike Rogers, can you imagine how small of a human being you have to be to know that he has real deficits and to just nod your head approvingly at the most ridiculous shit that the man proposes?

Coordinated hit piece on @AbdulElSayed between the Democratic establishment and mainstream media. They’re smearing him with absolutely no basis because they’re furious he won’t serve Israel. When AIPAC gives you tens of millions, you attack your own party when ordered.
BASH: “You're still fully behind Abdul El-Sayed?”
STEVENS: “Look, I'm on the Democratic ticket. I can't say that I agree with everything that's gone on… I'm looking to be on the team to support my next governor Jocelyn Benson, and frankly these great Democrats who are working their tails off, who are going to make Hakeem Jeffries the first black Speaker of the House.”
BASH: “You didn't mention Abdul El-Sayed in that last answer.”
STEVENS: “Well, look, I would just say, you had asked me if I'm still on the team, I'm on the team.”
