Not trying to set the world on fire. Just getting the ole girl warmed up and trying to learn a new track for the driver

Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.

Cool story just shared on The CW broadcast of O'Reilly Series qualifying: Longtime car owner Johnny Davis is at Darlington today and they're going to hold a JD Motorsports reunion of sorts after qualifying
Garrett Smithley running a JD Motorsports throwback on his car today.

One of the most meaningful moments for me didn’t happen on the track, it was a surprise phone call from Morgan Shepherd, former NASCAR driver of the No. 89, the number we chose as a tribute. For him to tell me he loved the decal and to wish me luck meant more than I can truly put into words.
Getting to meet his daughter Cindy on practice day and take a photo together just made it even more meaningful. It felt like one of those full-circle moments you’re just grateful to experience.
Racing is so much bigger than finishes and stats. It’s about legacy, faith, and the people God places in your path along the way.
The decal he was talking about, “Racing with Jesus” is something we’ll always carry on the car. It’s a reminder of Who I race for first. Humbled and grateful beyond words for this weekend.

Since my old man Bert went viral yesterday playing in the snow, I decided to tell his story for those that don’t know.
Bert came to us from the Carolina Basset Hound Rescue. We first saw his picture in early 2012, a few months after Jen’s Bowzer had passed. We knew right away.

🚨Announcement‼️
I’m excited and truly humbled to share that I’ll be racing full-time with @risemotorsports in the 2026 @ARCA_Racing Series. This is a huge opportunity for me, and I’m thankful for God’s direction throughout the process of making this happen.
I want to give a big thank you to everyone at Rise Motorsports. The work this team has already put in, the belief they’ve shown in me, and the vision they have for the upcoming season mean a lot. I’m proud to be a part of what they’re building.
To all the partners, supporters, and fans who’ve stuck by me, your encouragement has played a big part in keeping this journey moving forward. I’m grateful for every message, every prayer, and every bit of support along the way.
I’m looking forward to getting to work and giving everything I’ve got in 2026 💪

Thank you everybody for reaching out today. I’m out of the hospital and getting better already. Thankfully, CT scans for my head are clear, I just have a broken collarbone. Thankful for all the medics for quick attention and grateful it wasn’t any worse.❤️

Observation from driver intros-
Most all of the drivers are still sick and dehydrated from last week. I’ve never seen so many sick drivers before the start of the race.
Ryan Blaney fell to his knees multiple times after the race, and stayed down for a while, clearly exhausted. He got up briefly to do a TV interview and went back down. He stayed down, waiting for the AMR Safety team, and road off to the care center on a golf cart. Looked like his legs were cramping — more than likely dehydration.
My tweets simply wouldn’t send out there, so sorry for the late news.

10. 1997 Richmond - Bob Keselowski earned the second win for a Ram in the Craftsman Truck Series and his only win in the series. The win had added meaning as Keselowski helped re-introduce Mopar to stock car racing when he began racing and winning with Chryslers in ARCA in 1991
