My initial glance over the new bus connects proposals has spotted a litany of staggered crossings on all of the north side routes. A DMURS review would be quick and easy to do and prevent situations like the above.

Would love to know @DublinCommuters thoughts on the removal of the main Luas platform at Heuston to accommodate a cycle lane!!
There are 11 stations outside the DART area on the Dublin - Cork line. Upgrading these to quadtrack would improve journey times to/from Dublin from/to Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford + many more. At a rough cost of €20m per station that’s €220m total

Can any @sinnfeinireland supporter please explain to me how it is possible to increase government spending by €24.5bn while only increasing tax take by €3.8bn and claiming to deliver a budget surplus?? Do we really have a surplus of €4bn every year??

Garda Commissioner is a good man who was brought in his here to clear up matters in Gardai, seems SF like to rubbish him when he speaks the truth, Cullinane & Ellis shouting up the RA says it all @SaturdayRTE

Couple of things, Paddy. The Commissioner was a woman. She did not say the IRA had disbanded. She said its military departments and other IRA structure had been disbanded. Ask yourself this, if it had been disbanded, who or what is “maintaining” further down in her letter?

No matter how hard Sinn Féin representatives try to spin in the media, and no matter how aggressively their trolls try to bully critics on social media, the inconvenient truth keeps popping up. These are real issues that aren’t going away. irishtimes.com/news/crime-an…

They should combine rural post offices with rural Garda stations! Call them community hubs or something
Finally, a common sense court finding

Love how @LeoVaradkar keeps talking about when he became Taoiseach or when FG took over housing to hide the 9 years he had

Corrrect. It is a single yellow line and a dashed line on the cycle lane meaning that the Garda are doing nothing wrong.

You’re now promoting an article which opposes another NTA project @MetroLink_ie and uses incorrect figures to justify the case. @DublinCommuters

Why not make everyone’s life easier and make it €2.50. €5 per day, €25 per week. Leap card top ups would be multiples of return trips... common sense really
The proposal to allow EVs use bus lanes shows 3 things
1. How difficult it is to get people to switch from diesel/petrol
2. How little respect buses have
3. How out of touch FG are with “the squeezed middle” who are trying to squeeze onto public transport
