Congratulations, President @LulaOficial, on your re-election in Brazil.
The relationship between Canada and Brazil has flourished under our partnership. Let’s seize this opportunity to make it even stronger, together — to create major new trade opportunities, protect the environment, and build greater prosperity for both our peoples.

At the Paris Motor Show's Autonomous Lab, only two brands offer public ride-alongs. XPENG is one.
Global media test-drove XPENG NGP on real Paris streets—and didn’t hold back "rock solid" "better than a human".
See why. Watch now. 👀

Trump's DOJ told a judge how to rule. Then pulled her from court. Karen Donoso Stevens' allegations, which she's sharing publicly because of her deep concern for the court's integrity, were corroborated by her colleagues, family and private attorneys interviewed by WaPo.

Let’s try to understand what’s going on. The Stone camp is fighting the Bannon camp. And then there are several other splits within each camp. The locusts have begun cannibalising each other. Stay tuned.

This crazy bitch should be behind bars not on 60 Minutes.
This isn’t journalism. It’s Bari Weiss both-sidesing election denialism. There is no reason to put her on television.
“Show me the evidence that the paper ballot results differed from the computerized results,” 60 Minutes’ Bill Whitaker asks Tina Peters, the former Colorado election official who served time for her role in a voting machine breach.
“My place is not to show, you know, pick out different things and what-- what could have happened,” Peters says. “I was authorized to protect the election records according to 52USC.70201.” cbsn.ws/3W6ZKFb

Is Apple really banning feature flags?
Nick Dobos (@NickADobos) called attention to guideline 2.5.19. But as Apple's developer update clarifies, it is an extension of 2.3.1 regarding hidden features rather than an outright ban on A/B testing:

The Financial Times:
“Macron’s state managed to appear simultaneously repressive and weak. The French riot police routinely use tear gas, stun grenades and rubber bullet launchers, even against peaceful schoolchildren. The policy seems to be to do everything short of killing — France’s last two major riots, in 2005 and 2023, broke out after youths died in confrontations with police.”
🇫🇷 French police have left protesters with injuries that human rights lawyers told outlets compare to those seen in conflict zones, as a student uprising over crumbling schools and the cost of living enters its fifth week.
Over Saturday and Sunday alone, French outlets StreetPress, Index and ViolencesPolicières(dot)fr collected several hundred videos and testimonies. Cases they documented include:
🔸 A 17-year-old in Saint-Étienne whose hand was torn off by a police grenade
🔸 A 17-year-old girl in Mulhouse who lost the sight in her left eye after being hit by a tear gas grenade
🔸 Protesters in Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg and Besançon beaten with batons and kicked while on the ground, including one held in a chokehold
France's police watchdog has opened at least 36 investigations into police violence against high school protesters. Christophe Calvao, president of the Paris Young Lawyers' Union, denounced "an increasingly systematic use of crowd-control measures that would normally be reserved for much more serious situations."
Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez has said police "must be able to use all intermediate weapons," and on Tuesday vowed to "step up" for the next mobilization. France Unbowed leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon said his party and unions know how to keep marches peaceful by deploying hundreds of volunteers, adding: "We could at least expect police to do something other than fire indiscriminately into the crowd."
Melenchon also noted that most European countries ban such grenades, and that Nuñez suspended them only to reinstate them "not even 48 hours" later.
