I don’t think I’m being bold when I say Tyler Bremner (LAA) is severely overlooked
An ace-upside prospect who’s closer to that big league call-up than you think

Zach Neto & Reid Detmers are on Robert Murray’s list of best trade candidates available before the lockout:
“There’s a looming ownership change and uncertainty in the front office that makes the statuses of Neto and Detmers uncertain this winter. Are they moved? That’s something plenty of front offices are wondering.”

He knew what he was signing up for…everyone knew the gig was tied to Perry and that alone had its own expiration date.

John Mozeliak could still play a role in hiring the next GM.
"That is still to be determined, but I imagine I will help," he said.
Regardless, it's clear that KSE is starting the process of making significant changes to the Angels.
Interim GM John Mozeliak said he won't be the full-time GM in 2027 and that the process for finding the new GM is still in the early stages, as @JeffFletcherOCR reported. He also said his plan is to honor his contract and step aside when the new leadership is in place.

I expect the #Angels to go full new school analytics now.
Old school fans won’t be happy.

Here is some of that “more to come” that I teased earlier. Key note: it won’t be Mo.
I assume you can replace “GM” with “head of baseball operations.”
KSE will want the best of the best, and often times you give out the POBO title (rather than GM) to get that.

John Mozeliak said that the Angels will be hiring a full-time GM for the 2027 season. It won't be him.
He said that process is still in its early stages. They haven't interviewed anyone yet.
Mozeliak said the new manager would be hired after the GM.

I’ve already seen a lot of people tying Albert Pujols to the Angels managerial job, but I have a hard time seeing that.
KSE already let go the manager Mozeliak said he wanted, so I don’t think someone’s jumping up the candidate list because they have ties with Mo.

This story has been updated with comments from Kurt Suzuki.
He said he's undecided on whether he will remain with the Angels because he's already gotten some feelers on other jobs in the majors.

There are now 3 managerial vacancies in MLB, all in the AL West:
- Seattle Mariners
- Houston Astros
- Los Angeles Angels

Some facts for you to consider:
• The manager John Mozeliak wanted is not being brought back in that role.
• No commitment yet on Mozeliak’s status, with his contract expiring in Dec.
• The search for a new manager & coaching staff will be “in coordination with” KSE.

With this being said, I’d love to see the #Angels go after Rays bench coach Rodney Linares.
Daniel Descalso is with the Cardinals if you want to look that direction, but we’ll see.
There is always AP/Yadi as well.
I’ve said it from the beginning.
Kurt Suzuki was never going to get a fair shake of things. He’ll get another opportunity to coach/manage again if he wants to and I think he can be a very good one too. He was just set up for failure with the #Angels

Bob McCullough on the Angels adding to their pitching staff:
“The easy answer is to go get another veteran to go with Reid Detmers. Heck, given Kroenke's deep pockets, go get another ace. The attention would help the Halos compete with the Dodgers, which would be fun to watch and great for both teams.”
