FGM = MGM. fortunately female circumcision is against the law in the United States, but boys have no protection from genital mutilation. Newborn male genital mutilation, also known as infant penis sacrifice or circumcision.

I won't call it "circumcision". The word comes from the Latin circumcidere, meaning "to cut around." But this is not simply about cutting around something. It's about the IRREVERSIBLE mutilation of sensitive tissues, most often performed on NON-CONSENTING babies. I'd call it MGM.
