Comedian Shappi Khorsandi has questioned “what consent looks like” to Russell Brand, and spoken about how one woman told her she had been raped by him.
“One woman in particular that spoke to me after she had been with him…She called it rape,” she told Channel 4 News’ Russell Brand on Trial podcast.
And she said that when Brand suggests women had “reimagined” their encounters with him in the past, he was “projecting”.
Brand has been convicted of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault following a trial at Southwark Crown Court but he has always denied having non-consensual sex.
He is due to be sentenced on Monday.

This key point was completely overlooked in the Covid inquiry conclusions - Sweden didn’t enforce lockdowns, school closures and mask mandates during the Covid era, yet Sweden’s excess death rate during 2020–2022, was the lowest of all European countries.
