Footage shows the soldier puncturing tires, kicking body panels and mirrors, smashing windshields, and using his weapon to break windows.

While many Israelis celebrate their independence today, they choose to ignore a basic truth: their independence is built on the ongoing occupation of the Palestinian people, denying them freedom and self determination. There is no real independence when it is reserved for those of the “right blood” alone. The Palestinian people have the right to live in freedom, justice, and peace like any other people. That must begin with ending the occupation and apartheid, and establishing an independent Palestinian state. After decades of force and bloodshed, it is time for a different path, independence and freedom for all.

I wish strength and courage to the Hungarian people in their struggle against tyranny, after sixteen years under the rule of Orbán.
If change comes, it will be more than a national turning point. It could mark the beginning of a broader pushback against right-wing populism, a force that has fueled hatred, eroded democratic norms, and spread fear across the world.
Today, hopefully, Orbán’s era begins to close.
And if it does, the message will travel far beyond Hungary, reaching other right-wing populist figures like Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump.
History does not turn all at once, but it always begins with a single day.

I live in H2 which is part of the city of Hebron controlled by the Israeli army.
This area is under Israeli army control and Palestinian civil control.
When you want to build something you need the approval of the army which is rarely given.
After the war between Israel and Iran in June which saw 3 Palestinian kids injured not far from here from a missile my father and few others in the neighborhood asked for a permit to build a shelter in the neighborhood.
Their request has been rejected.
So once again we hear the sirens from the Jewish neighborhoods,
We hear explosions above our head and we pray for the mercy of god.
