Summer Of Speed! A flying 100 with a 20m run in while capturing a subset flying 30 with a 90m run in measuring 10m splits. This is a great way to assess your speed endurance during the 100 (80-100m). The run in will help you reach MaxV earlier so you test your ability to maintain top end speed. What does each 10m split tell you? The goal is to see how close each split can be and how close they are to your 10m splits during MaxV training.
As a coach, I can also tell when people aren’t running through the line even though they look fast while running. Good learning for Dillon Mitchell. His big drop off on the last 10m was very telling. #FactsAreFriendly
