Here are some of our Genuine thoughts on the interview with AD David Harris (They didn’t ask us to post this, these are purely our takeaways)
1) David Harris clearly recognizes this season is not up to our standards so far.
He mentioned explicitly that he knows the standard is to compete for championships, and if we don’t meet that goal we will evaluate what went wrong at the end of the season. He isn’t comfortable resting on our laurels and wants the program to get back to championships.
2) We loved his answer related to Complacency.
He understands we need to approach each year with urgency, especially in this era of college sports with all the change between seasons. He mentioned approaching every season as if we have to be the predator, not the team to beat.
3) Tulane is in active discussions to join a P4 conference, with support of Gibson Hall.
This one surprised us, honestly. This was the most definitive we’ve heard from an internal source that we are pursuing a power conference opportunity.
4) Revenue Share doubled from 2025 to 2026 with help from Gibson.
We haven’t yet asked for the full revenue share, but the university has committed to supporting the football program financially. Harris specifically said he doesn’t feel the need to convince the admin about the importance of athletics, as they already understand the impact it has on alumni engagement, applications, and future donations.
5) Tulane has received several 7 figure donations to the green wave talent fund.
We had only heard about Don and Lora Peter’s 3.5M gift, but apparently we have received several other anonymous ones.
6) DH expects Tulane coaches to make the most of their resources.
He has stated that the football program is the most resourced it has ever been, and the team is not meeting expectations. This tells use that the last 4 games are critical in determining whether or not Hall is back next year.
Our interview with @DavidHarrisAD is out. You can find the episode on our website, Spotify, SoundCloud, or Apple Podcasts. We listened to yall and asked David Harris a variety of questions including. For transparency, this is the full list of questions we asked
You previously stated your expectation for the football program is to compete for conference championships. Most odds makers give Tulane a slim chance to win at the moment. In your opinion, how has or hasn’t this team met expectations?
How do you approach complacency with success? Do you think Tulane has done a good job staying ahead of their peers and rivals?
What would you say to fans and alumni who are upset? Why should they support the program?
CBS sports put out an article stating that Will Hall was our 3rd option and that this job might come open at the end of the season. Do you have any thoughts on that report?
You are mentioned you would discuss this on the podcast. Why did you mute replies on X and Facebook?
A recent viral video stated Tulane has seen a 100% increase in applications since making the CFP. Is that a stat you would take to the board to try and get more athletics funding?
Tulane’s Board includes a large number of successful and wealthy individuals who clearly care about the university, but seem to not be involved financially with athletics. What specific steps are you and your team taking to more deeply engage those board members with athletics, through NIL support, facility projects, or simply becoming more visible advocates?
Aside from football, can you define our athletics standard? Do you expect all teams to compete for a championship? What is the overall goal of the Tulane Athletics Department?
Do you have any insight on the future of conference championships? Will the American Conference continue to have one despite the move to a 24 team playoff?
Do you support a Group of Six playoff?

Customer: "This package missed the guaranteed delivery date."
Amazon Bot: "We are so sorry for the delay! It is still in transit and should arrive tomorrow."
Customer: "I am not asking for a tracking update. Two-day Prime shipping is a paid retail contract. Since you missed the delivery window, apply the $15 monthly Prime fee credit to my account balance immediately."
48 hours later...
Amazon Rep: "I have applied a $15 promotional credit to your Amazon balance."
Customer: "I will be sending this message for every late box."
Lesson for Prime Members:
Amazon does not just sell products. They sell your own laziness back to you. Their reps are trained to offer a weak $5 credit first because they know 95% of Americans will just complain to their spouse instead of demanding the full monthly fee they are legally owed.
Stop treating Prime like a charity. Claim your late credits, link a second adult under Amazon Household to split your $139 fee in half, and cancel your Subscribe & Save the exact minute the first discounted box ships.
Stop quietly subsidizing a trillion-dollar algorithm.
If you want to stop leaving cash on the table this weekend, use these two exact plays on your Prime app today:
First, whenever a box is late, open the customer service chat, bypass the bot by typing "Representative," and paste this exact line:
"My order missed the guaranteed Prime delivery date. Because Prime shipping is a paid service agreement, I am requesting a $15 promotional credit applied to my account to cover this month's membership fee."
Second, never click the yellow "Buy Now" button. Amazon puts the seller with the highest profit margin in that box, not the lowest price. Always scroll down and click "New & Used from other sellers." You will find the exact same brand-new item with Prime shipping for 20% less.

Tulanians, New Orleans, Athletic Director David Harris, and President Mike Fitts,
Enough is enough. Tulane football is a falling way short of our standard and imminent action is necessary.
Last year, Tulane was one of the 12 best teams in the entire country which lead to unprecedented positive media coverage, a surge in Alumni support and a 100% increase in applications to the university. 9 months ago, thousands of Alumni gathered across the country to cheer on the Wave win the conference championship and compete in the College Football Playoff. Now, we can hardly get 10 alumni together in each city to watch a game. The poor state of the football program is not only doing direct harm to Alumni engagement and enthusiasm and will have repercussions in future admissions cycles, but could potentially lead to irreversible damage and billions of lost dollars with the inevitable upcoming conference realignment.
Our success has been used as an excuse to not invest MORE in the program. We have been a victim of our own success and our peers have caught up and surpassed us already. Our former competition like SMU, and Houston who were already ahead of us seems impossible to catch up to.
Change is needed now. WE MUST INVEST TO STAY COMPETITIVE.
If you care about Tulane football please SHARE this message. An outpouring from Alumni, Fans, and New Orleans will be the only thing to bring the university to immediate action.
@DavidHarrisAD @TUFitts @GreenWaveFB
LMAO Kings were sitting on 58 points with 3 seconds left in the 1st half and drilled a 3 at the buzzer to deny the toast. 😂😂😂
I searched Bobby Phills on Wikipedia because I remember his jersey in the rafters in New Orleans.
Maybe Charlotte folks should be more concerned with the fact that the franchise there in 2000 raced to retire Phills yet never bothered with Bogues, who was more impactful.

🗣🗣🗣 PREACH!!!
Dear Green Wave Nation, I want to apologize for all of my vulgarities yesterday, but I am very angry about what I’ve been seeing on the offensive side of this football team. It is so annoying to watch such a talented football team go to waste. I wear my heart on my sleeve most of the time, and I speak before I think. but y’all understand the frustration, I’m sure.
I love Tulane, and I love my boys on this team. They are my guys. And to watch them get blamed for execution when more of it is based on getting put in bad positions by a horrible coaching staff just ticks me off beyond belief !
Unfortunately, what I said last night is true, and I will not be attending any more Tulane football games as Green Wave Man until this staff is dismantled !
Please @TUFitts do something about this before it is too late. This program has come a long way since the days of Bob Toledo, Chris Scelfo, and Curtis Johnson and going back to those days should not be an option because the football program will suffer immensely. The donors, the fans, the people who are tied to this program deserve a much better football program !!!

As seen on New Orleans @Reddit…
A beer in the Superdome fridges is marked as $16, and scans as $17 at the register.
Someone also told me the cost of the cheeseburger went up 50 cents from Game 1 to Game 2.
WDSU doing the same by not promoting Damon Singleton and then Shay O'Connor leaving.
