If you choose the goal, you also have to choose the work that comes with it.
If you want to be great, you don’t get to decide each day whether great effort is necessary.
You already made that decision when you set the goal.
If you commit to the goal, commit to the cost.

When Tiger Woods drained the hardest pitch shots in golf at the 2005 Masters.
During the final round of the 2005 Masters, Tiger Woods faced an incredibly difficult chip on Augusta National’s 16th hole. Battling Chris DiMarco for the lead, Woods needed extraordinary precision to navigate the steep slope and keep his championship hopes alive.
What followed became one of golf’s most iconic moments. Woods’ ball rolled toward the cup, paused dramatically on the edge, then dropped in. Despite bogeying the final two holes, Woods ultimately defeated DiMarco in a playoff to claim his fourth green jacket.

Modern recruiting is changing.
On November 1st, UVA is opening its Maven Lab to 40 players.
This is your opportunity to spend quality time with the coaching staff, assess on the same lab as the players, and get personalized instruction on how to continue developing as a player.
Your numbers go straight to your Maven App, and you come back to campus later to reassess and see what moved.
Every rep in front of Coach Pollard and the UVA staff. Get seen. Know where you stand. Leave with answers and a real path forward.
