The only thing I saw is "St. Cloud Modeling Agency". Dare I hope Fraction will give us Silver again in a story (she does know Bruce is Batman after all).

Northanger Abbey is by its nature a parody of Gothic literature of the period. Its probably the funniest Austen completed novel and a filmmaker could do so mich with Catherine's imagination vs reality. Alas...for some reason its the one novel Hollywood doesn't want to bother with
One of the great things about P&P is that Lizzie in her way (it's in the title: Prejudice) is just as flawed as Darcy but together they overcome their flaws to truly see and appreciate each other and become better people. There are no perfect heroines in Austen.
So... she doesn't understand the character at all.
The whole point of Mr. Darcy was that Elizabeth was the only one willing to stand up to him because he was a jerk despite the fact that he was fabulously wealthy. He was still a good man (looked after his sister, his friend - even if he was misguided there-, treated his employees very well, etc.) but he had to get over his pride before Elizabeth would even consider him.
Elizabeth isn't perfect either and he does rightfully point out that yeah: her family is also a little nuts.
Lizzie Bennett is only 20. Emma Corrin is 30. You can tell. There's a big difference. Having Lizzie barely out of her teens makes her "high spirits" & getting her head turned by Wickham's line understandable. Only Keira Knightley has been cast as age-appropriate Lizzie to date.
Jane Bennett is supposed to be a knock-out to the point she was Collins's first choice & even Darcy said she was the best looking woman in the room. Being gorgeous is the prerequisite for the character.
Jane is rather mid; fatty Kitty makes an appearance in the trailer and I can't take her seriously as Wickham's fallback choice. Surprised they didn't make Collins just "creepy" (rather than clumsy), hitched only because Charlotte is desperate. Squandered opportunity. @emvidal
Erasmus was a real one. Considering his real and valid MANY criticisms of the Church, many of the Reformers thought he'd be with them in bringing it all down. He said "Nope" and remained in the RCC till the end.
As much as I love their writings I must say ever since I learned Mark Twain & Charlotte Bronte had a low opinion of Austen, I've never looked at either of them in the same way.
The people who made this know P&P is a comedy right? Why is this so darkly lit and played so serious? It's a "comedy of manners"! Jane Austen's wit and irony are its own genre. Having Collins & Mrs. Bennett be ridiculous is not enough.

I've always liked the idea of Bruce & Lois being pals more than Lois & Selina (which seems forced). I do think Bruce regards Clark as his best friend (Bruce even gave the Lane-Kents their preNew52 apartment as a wedding present).
Does anyone remember the serve of the century aka Detective Comics #1103, where Batman and Lois Lane teamed up to solve crime? And it was just them serving dangerous amounts of cunt and being an insane team for 28 pages, with Bruce fangirling over Lois every 5 seconds? Just me?
Maybe Unpopular Opinion but Ultimate Sue was the worst version of Sue just as Ultimate Reed was. Except for her looks it was never clear why Reed was so obssesed with her. So many "Ultimate" characters were terrible. Made 616 Sue look so much better in comparison.
I love that Marvel always has a Doom-bot or Skrull get out of jail free card whenever they want to retcon a character's actions.

I'm always shocked we don't get more scenes of randos asking out super-heroes (especially rich guys/celebs) & shooting their shot. Someone like PG or WW would be a dream date for most guys/gals if the DC was the real world. Just by looks alone, then add in fame & super-powers?
I've always been stunned by the Anna Anderson claims & the idea they were so readily believed. Not only did she not look like Anastasia even as a young woman,no part of her personality resembled the Anastasia that has come down to us from people who knew or met the Grand Duchess.
Ewing's solution to making Genocide Paul "likeable" was to make him a big doofus (which presumably he was all along) which made it even more of a headscratcher why MJ would stay with him so long or choose him over Peter. That "fix" just made the relationship worse.
