Ken Rosenthal: โwas it important to win one just to show youโre on this level?โ
Iโm so glad Taylor Walls laughed and told him it was disrespectful.
Rosenthal knows what he was asking.
We get it - the MLB media thinks the Brewers are amazing!

Comiskey Park under construction on Chicago's South Side in the spring of 1910 โ a ballpark rising in steel and concrete on a former city dump at 35th Street and Shields Avenue, where White Sox owner Charles Comiskey was building the game a palace.
Comiskey hired architect Zachary Taylor Davis โ who would design Wrigley Field four years later โ and sent him touring the country's ballparks with pitcher Ed Walsh. Ground was broken on February 15, 1910, the cornerstone was laid on St. Patrick's Day, and the fireproof park went up in about four months despite a five-week steelworkers' strike, at a cost of $750,000 โ a pitcher's park, 362 feet down the lines and 420 to center, exactly as Walsh wanted. It opened as White Sox Park on July 1, 1910, and the housewarming was spoiled: Barney Pelty of the St. Louis Browns threw a five-hitter to beat Walsh 2-0 before an official crowd of 24,900. Soon renamed for Comiskey and billed as the Baseball Palace of the World, the park then held 80 seasons of Chicago baseball: the 1917 World Series title, the 1919 Black Sox scandal, the first All-Star Game on July 6, 1933 โ where Babe Ruth hit the first All-Star home run in a 4-2 American League win โ night baseball's arrival on August 14, 1939, the 1959 pennant, Bill Veeck's exploding scoreboard in 1960, and Disco Demolition Night on July 12, 1979. The last of its 6,247 major-league games came on September 30, 1990, a 2-1 win over Seattle before 42,849 fans; demolished in 1991 as the oldest park in the majors, its home plate is now marked by a marble plaque in a parking lot across 35th Street from the new stadium.
โพ Comiskey was still the oldest park in the majors when the wrecking ball came in 1991 โ should it have been saved, the way Fenway Park and Wrigley Field were? ๐๏ธ
Thanks for the info

"Several years ago Ty Cobb, the veteran manager of the Detroit American League baseball team, put on his gray uniform and walked on the field at Yankee Stadium, New York City, an hour before a scheduled game between Detroit and New York.
Ty Cobb was alert, aggressive and keen-eyed, nearing forty years of age.
Cobb had to walk past the New York dugout where the "World's Champion" Yankees were sitting.
"Howdy, gentlemen," said Cobb.
"Howdy yourself," retorted the Yankees.
Then Urban Shocker, the Yankee pitcher, decided to have a little fun.
"Isn't it time to take that uniform off, old man, and quit kidding the public?" he razzed.
Cobb laughed tolerantly at this sally and went to the plate for hitting practice.
"Hit one into left field," one of the Yankees shouted, and thereupon innocently precipitated an exhibition of baseball place-hitting that the old-timers still talk about.
"All right!" said Cobb.
He promptly faced the hitting practice pitcher and drove a terrific liner into the left field stands.
"Now one to center!" the Yankees yelled. "O.K.," replied Cobb, and timing the pitch beautifully, shot a grass-burner over second base.
"Let's see you hit the next one to the right!" the New Yorkers dared, and quick as lightning the Georgia Peach whipped a fast ball to the desired locality.
"Now foul one into your dugout," the New York players called, jokingly.
With a grim smile, Ty Cobb fouled the next delivery, not into the Tiger dugout, but straight among the Yankees themselves, who tumbled over one another to avoid being hit by the ball.
"Is that all for today, gentlemen?"
Ty Cobb asked?
Harold Keith, "Sports and Games."
