(1) would you be happy to let your daughter live next to a neighbor with 7x the rape rate of an average Brit?
(2) if you wouldn't, why would you devote your public writing into trying to convince other Brits that they should let their daughters live next to such neighbors?
(3) would anyone be at fault to think that your double standard is because you're an upper/middle class Brit who cares not about the safety of lower-class Brits who have to live alongside dangerous migrants?

"vote Lula to save the rainforest" says white retard who can't make it clearer that he views the lives of 214 million Brasilians as irrelevant compared to the precious jungles that white tourists want to go trekking in.
thank God Lula doesn't actually believe this. that's why Brazil has 1.5% growth rather than -0.5%.
"don't comment here with weird foreign words" says subhuman retard commenting in English on Brazilian politics
this bullshit about the Amazon has to be the most mindraped Westoid nonsense I've seen this cycle, on par with rightoid claims of fraud.
Lula literally got kickbacks from Petrobras and supports Petrobras's proposed new drilling in the Amazon. (this is a good thing btw)

markets are falling because they didn't expect Brazilians to re-elect a retarded communist presiding over 1.5% per capita growth, not because the election was fraudulent

obviously we can't tell because the Economist has anonymous writers, but I suspect this graph was made by a Pakistani.
Afghanistan and Pakistan should be in the same cultural grouping. if it's meant to be geographic rather than cultural, then MENA isn't a valid grouping.
Westoids who sing the virtues of China's education system should note that their teenagers undergo multiple years of psychological torture like what you see in the video below. (the exception being the ultra-rich kids who go to international schools)
The teens in the video are, in fact, the more fortunate teens in their school. Their parents have to go the extra length to do this for them. Most don't.
You should be nicer to the angry, bitter Chinese people you see on the Internet, because they were likely traumatized by a childhood like this.

Gruber later admitted it was never meant to lower costs. Increasing premiums for young people so that high-risk individuals could be covered was part of the design.

I don't even fault Gruber for this, he's a partisan and partisans lie. The outrageous part is that all of mainstream media and "centrist punditry" failed to do due diligence and presented his lies as indisputable fact.
meanwhile PwC was basically spot on with its estimates.

the point about English speakers is actually the only reasonable point. Because AI-translated posts show up as "AI written", to enforce against AI means they have to enforce against all non-English speakers, so they might as well tell them about this. This is a surprisingly astute observation by a Reddit mod.
not surprisingly, this is also the point that most of the comment section has an issue with, with hundreds of Redditors accusing the mod of "racism".
Replying to @BriannaWu
she's correct that racism will become prevalent again but this is only because Africa is going to have the dominant share of world population.
African ethnic groups hate other African ethnic groups in ways that we cannot even begin to comprehend.
you are insane and additionally know nothing about how anything works.
(i) the majority of the Russian nuclear arsenal is post-Soviet; they never closed down the Soviet assembly lines used for maintenance. They cycle nuclear warheads into the factories every 15 years for refurbishing, just like what we do for commercial aircraft.
(ii) if even 250 (5%) of its arsenal works, Russia has nuclear escalation dominance in the sense that it can cause a nuclear winter that would wipe out most of humanity.
(iii) the fact that Western leaders has repeatedly threatened a massive conventional response if Russia used nukes shows that these leaders and their intelligence agencies take Russia's use of tactical nukes as a serious possibility, even if you (random guy on X) don't.
(iv) But if you know anything about the sentiment of domestic populations in Western democracies, you'll realize none of them are willing to launch a large conventional war, never mind a nuclear war, over Ukraine. The empty threat here comes from the West, and the earlier we admit it the better.
what will happen if Russia if uses a tactical nuke is:
(1) Russia lives forever in infamy
(2) China condemns Russia and cuts off economic ties.
(3) Western nations universally condemn Russia and do nothing. Ukraine morale shatters and surrenders within a fortnight.
(1) and (2) are the factors discouraging Russian use of tactical nukes, not (3).

the market is saturated. people can already see Musk hit pieces on major news network every day.
if you think tyrants as a rule don't care about international norms at all, then you should advocate for the unconditional surrender of Ukraine, because Russia can use nukes against Ukraine, and no Western nation is prepared to get into a nuclear war against a country with 5,000 nukes in defense of Ukraine.
the only assumption that gives Ukraine a viable path of victory is the assumption that Putin and his stooges care about getting Russia re-admitted to the community of nations after a negotiated peace. this requires the international order to actually preserve some norms that make it rational for Russia (and ideally China) to join.
with regards to space, a good norm would have been "don't use the LEO for military purposes at all" but unfortunately we failed to enact that norm in 1967. the compromise we have is "distinguish between military and civilian satellites", which is largely a facade, but it is a facade that still imposes a reputational cost to anyone who shoots rockets into satellites.
reducing that reputation cost to zero, which is what happens if you keep blurring the boundary between civilian and military satellites, means you guarantee that Russia takes this action.

in terms of actual fighting, China was the easy part.
Hong Taiji declared the establishment of the Qing empire in 1635, immediately after the success of his third campaign against the Chahar Mongols. He had always seen the Mongols as his main competitor.
In 1636 Qing launched a raid into northern China and an invasion of Korea simultaneously. The Koreans won a few engagements before surrendering. The Chinese didn't win a single engagement. The raiding force took 200,000 captives and animals back home.
The only Ming force that ever won on the open field against the Jurchens/Manchus was the Guanning Iron Cavalry (關寧鐵騎), which was composed of ethnic Mongols. In 1641, this force also defected to Qing, making the Ming sitting ducks.
After that, the conquest of China was basically a matter of logistics.
