When do states owe #asylum as #reparation to #refugees for the harms of #displacement? To coincide with my talk on this question @DurhamPhilosop1 this week, @palmacpolitics are offering a 20% discount on my book, #AsylumasReparation, til 24/06 with the code below

Not being a natural salesman, I feel a bit awkward highlighting this but...there's around one week left to use a 20% discount on my new book, #AsylumasReparation, which aims to rethink states' #responsibility to #refugees & #reparation for #displacement

Pleased to have this as a finished product, rather than as a series of never quite finished Word documents to endlessly rework and doubt!

Asylum as Reparation argues that we need to move beyond the dominant humanitarian approach to #asylum and take the international causes of #displacement seriously, recognising the great relevance of #reparation for states' responsibilities to #refugees bit.ly/3qoizAn

What do states owe #refugees they have created? My new book, out now, argues that asylum should act as a form of reparation for the unjust harms of displacement bit.ly/3qoizAn
